"To brace themselves for what's coming" as catch-and-release of illegals-caught committing other crimes-begins

You may have read that President Obama is now quietly offering a quasi-amnesty for illegal immigrants in a cynical attempt to appeal to rebuild his voting base.

Under his direction, new prosecution rules put ICE agents in a bureaucratic box if they choose to prosecute illegals, with dozens of new, subjective guidelines. In essence, Obama is forcing ICE agents to release illegals even if they are caught committing crimes.

"Any American concerned about immigration needs to brace themselves for what's coming," said Chris Crane, President of the National ICE Council which represents approximately 7,000 ICE agents, officers and employees, "this is just one of many new ICE policies in queue aimed at stopping the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws in the United States. Unable to pass its immigration agenda through legislation, the Administration is now implementing it through agency policy."

House GOP Bill Would Freeze Obama Regime’s Power To Grant Amnesty To Illegal Immigrants

The Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee is crafting a bill that would temporarily freeze the Obama administration’s power to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants.

The measure is in response to a memo issued by the head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last week that approved a broader breadth of discretion for agency officials when considering whether to deport someone through the Secure Communities program.

He's already doing several end arounds on Congress and the Constitution. Congress is starting to wake up. CAP advised Obama several months ago to cut EO's if he couldn't get what he wants legislatively.....Nice, eh? CAP, John Podetta and Georgey Boy advising Obama to do end arounds....And Nancy thinks we need to rewrite the Constitution.....

It's time to either enforce the laws we have rigorously or just open the borders and say F*CK IT! I'm to the point where I don't care which path they pick, just pick one and make it work.

Here's a thought, What would happen to the violence on the US/Mexico border if ALL drugs, especially pot were legal, taxed and regulated in the same manner as tobacco and alcohol?

Gangs would go the way of the DoDo bird, same as with alcohol prohibition. Of course they will move to prostitution (where they already are) and protection rackets (where they already are). Gambling, not so much as almost every state in the union now have casinos, lottery or some other money capturing scam. Only difference is gangs would dry up and gooberment would receive taxes to defray health care costs, reduce the burden on prisons and dump the DEA (more cost savings).
But I doubt any of this will happen in my lifetime as it makes too much sense... 😛
