"Take, cease paying," what ever you want to call it. If this gets approved every friday i lose 5%. That 5% is MY money put into an account with MY name on it.

Now if the iamnpf is such a good deal why couldn't the NC get us into it and leave our 401k alone?
I dont mind giving up space positve tickets for iam officals, if it gets me into the iamnpf.
that seems pretty cost neutral.
pretty(UGLY) cost neutral.

( The Space Positive for UB is not a cost item, we had it on the East side before the merger.) per 700....

WHAT DO we pay dues for???????????????????

Did Andy Marshall or any other IBT reps get positive space travel on HP for UB?

See the East had it, it was never in the CBA, after the merger Doogie pulled all the union's Space Positive privileges.

I have a failure to under stand something here. Will my brothers on each side help me out here.Maybe we can sort through thin mess and come up with a reasonable Idea how we should vote on this POS T/A.

2.It still impresses me how this company can continue day after day breaking rules that under anything except the NRLA would be illegal in this country.

This T/A will bring 2 groups of beaten and down trodden people under a POS give back contract that will at the same time take away any protection in case of a merger.

I have a failure to understand what you are talking about regarding your #2 statement. Can you be specific on what rules please?

(YOU GOT TO LOVE A PERSON THAT CAN THINK)

Can either /or both of you please be specific on what exactly is being taken out of the CBA by the TA that takes away "any protection" in case of a merger. The articles and lines would be helpful. Thank you

I dont have a vote, and I would not make a guess, unless the CBA and its costs were totally explained to me.

Would that be the same if you were still employed by the company and not a member of the NC? Has the union ever broke down the costs and explained it to the members (maybe thats why they need to revote because they are so confused) let alone "totally" or even partially explaining what effect a TA will have on an existing CBA before or after a vote.

The costs are broken down and have been explained in the past, cant speak for the current.

Merger, acquisition and fragmentation protections are still in the CBA, the COC would be removed.

The company would not pay a 401k match and a DBP, it is one or the other.

Or better yet, waste dues money on buying tickets?

Yes I would rather them buy tickets using unions dues. I am sure the company didn't consider the the space positive tickets a no cost item in the CBA. So who ended up paying for them? Thats right the union dues paying members. Of course if the union would "break down the costs", as you say, for the members they could make a decision and vote with no confusion? Isn't that what you would want for yourself?

That is not true the costs have never been "totally" broken down for the members.

I asked allstrike and awausairtech the question about what protections were being removed from the CBA regarding a merger because they are the ones that made statements about "all (any) protection being removed"
