Iam Hearing Postponed Till 1/27/05

Like I have been telling you, are the 5 AGCs the IAM or the entire fleet service membership?

Does the IAM have you hold your hand when you walk or wipe your butt when you go to the bathroom?

The union is as only as strong as its membership, guess you are too busy to get involved and help out, it is easier just to throw criticism then actually do anything to make things better.

Bad Lawyers can be fired but Bad AGC's keep on raking in the money off the backs of demorlized workers. We have tried to replace them but the IAM constition is like fighting the Mob. Once the IAM is in you cant get rid of them.

So this is what we all fought for a mafia style union?

As far as holding hands and wiping butts that will never happen from this union it doesnt do sh_t for the members. But I'm sure I can leaving kissing butts just for you AGC IAM lovers.

Like I said, when was the last time you got involved and tried to make things better or do anything for someone except yourself?

You would rather sit back and do nothing then lay blame on the IAM, when in all actuality you are the IAM, not 5 AGCs.

And my district does not have AGCs it has GCs.

700...and this is not directed towards you in any way...but i know you realise you're talking to one of those under the wing ,in the bathroom gonna change it but i can't go to the meeting type smacks who populate the working ranks in industry these days...sux don't it??
it makes me puke to have to represent these unionists time and time again.....but as you and i know when they get into a bind....you and i have to put this aside and represent them to our fullest capacity....
god bless those who care for those who don't have the time........... ;)

For your information I was involved and worked with others to replace several AGC's but it would be easier to have workers run for us senate than get into an AGC slot.

The only way you can get an AGC job is kiss alot of butt so I guess you and your buddies will just have to keep puckering up!

See that is not helping any member, you are stuck with the leadership you have, you have to work within the parameters to effect change and keep the checks and balances.

Just like when there was District 141M, the members spoke and got the bylaws changed that you only have to get endorsed by two local lodges to run for AGC, it use to be four.

If you put your mind to it you can make change, but during times of concessions, you need to be united, not divided.

In 2000, there were 2 members who were endorsed by 4 local lodges. The IAM bosses broke the law to prohibit these 2 members from being on the ballot. Don't say anthing to any members about " not getting involved". The IAM only wants involvment from its IAM/company YES men.

It will be easier for FSA's to go to another union than to try to run against appointed AGC's!!!

only one way here dude...prove your allegations with fact and then we can help you..........

Like I said the dept of Labor had to get involved and ruled the IAM did violate their own constitution. It is proven that the IAM will go to any means possible to keep its IAM/company yes men in the AGC position.

Ask 700 why there might be 9 or less FSA's at 1725 LL meeting. They do not want involvement unless you agree with the IAM/company. At one time there use to be participation, But then the IAM let it be known, they did not want the members to participate.

Like I said FSA's are looking forward to removeing the IAM!!!

You are full of it. Not one Fleet Service person has ever been discouraged to attend a 1725 meeting.

In fact the former VP was Fleet Service, a current trustee and the conductor/sentinal are all fleet service.

700,
They discourage the members by their actions, and we get the message loud and clear. YOU DO NOT WANT PARTICAPATION UNLESS THE MEMBERS ARE IN LOCK STEP WITH THE IAM/company AGC'S!!!!
