AMFA has not submitted false information to the NMB..... the company has. Hopefully they will be held accountable, but I'll believe that when I see it.

What is a prime example of AFW? That we have over 75% of the base signed and ready to vote your twu out? Then yes cio, we are at AFW a PRIME AMFA example.
Stock clerks, the machine shop, Fac. Maint. and some OSM's is about it for the twu at AFW. Almost all the A@P mechanics are AMFA signed, along with most of the OSM's. Even people on the E-board and many shop stewards (not "stewart" dummy) have signed cards.

Listen cio, just because a "shop stewart" is a believer in the worst union (twu) in the U.S of A. Does not mean he is going to convince anybody that can think for themselves the twu is the right choice.

It's funny you should bring this up. I was just talking about this exact amfa wannabes crying fit last night at dinner with a buddy of mine. Do you know why Delle wanted Sonny??? Because he doesn't hold a chance against Jim Little AND HE KNOWS IT!!!!!! Have you even seen Delle's speaking abilities. . .much less any ability to debate??? He has none. Delle knew Mr. Little was gravely ill at the time of the challenge, asked to debate Sonny Hall who he knew would NOT show up because Sonny Hall does not run the ATD and is not the man to debate in the first place. It was all a ploy to make the TWU look like we didn't show up on purpose, when in reality we DID show up and Delle refused to debate us. He refused to debate a couple of rank and file members. How cowardly is that????? Can't even stand up to a couple of members to whom he is trying to get to sign amfa cards. PATHETIC!!!!!!! And now Delle has the oppurtunity for a second chance and still won't do it!!!

We all know that Delle wants no part of a real debate, especially with Mr. Little. He wants no part of a debate between the members. Taking quite the dictator stance isn't he???!!! It's quite a shame too. I would like to see Delle get rubbed in the ground in this public forum. And a few rank and rile for that matter. What about the rest of the cowards in the twu International? Art "the dung eating maggot' Luby was hiding at the coffin parade with team twu in the Brady parking lot. Why didn't he debate Delle? So many twu questions, and so few twu answers.

Its a miracle I tell ya! Jim little recovers in record time, snatched from the jaws of death!!!! A sign from the twu gods!!!! More than likely, a load of twu BULLLLLLL*hit!!!!!!

I'm glad he's all better now.

Wel maybe he has a point. However should the fact that Sonny is not running the ATD be of any consolation to us? That means that Jim Little is, and he was apponted. So it just further reinforces our arguement about the lack of accountability. When you go after Sonny he blames Little, when you go after Little he blames Sonny.

These guys are so pathetic. I have a letter in my posession, dated December 10,2003 where Sonny claims that he had no part in our removal, even though his letters to me indictated that it was he, as President, who was removing me.

In the letter to member Mike Allen he writes;(The judge is going to love this)
"The facts are that the A/A Presidents, by majority vote, presented to me charges against two T.W.U. officers, who refused to state they were not advocating AMFA to replace TWU.

He went on to state: Yes I presented the charges, but I did not conduct the trial nor vote to remove these two officers for their refusal to support the TWU, ,,,, the entire Executive council, by their vote, removed these two officers.

However the letter he sent to me, dated August 4, 2003 said "Dear Brother Owens; This letter will place you on notice that I, as International President of the TWU have reason to believe that you are failing to comply with the TWU Constitution,,,,,,I am therefore by this letter instituting proceedings against you for the alleged violation,,,,,,,,I have determined that, in my judgement, the circumstances warrant my suspending you from your office,,,,,,I am therefore for suspending you,,,, pending the resulkts from the proceedings I have initiated against you. I here state the charges against you as follows:


So now Sonny is saying that the Presidents council took a vote to remove us. He then removed us without ever speaking or giving us the opportunity to give our side of the story to him. I see nothing in the Constitution where other Local officers can vote to remove the leadersjhip of another supposedly independant local. Was Tulsa allowed to use their roll call vote? Is this covered in our Constitution? Well in a few more months we wont have to worry about these clowns anymore any way.

This fits nicely with the other post about "Its the presidents fault". Not only is the International going to blame the contract on the Presidents, but they are trying to blame them for removing Chuck and I even though there is nothing in the Constitution giving them the power to do so.

I have not seen the list but I have been told about the inflated list and have confirmed that some names included in the list are in fact no longer employed at AA. When you say what the company does is beyond your control you are correct. A company, any company, will do what it wants when it wants. But it is up to our union to protect us against any negative action taken by our company. Why hasn't the twu spoken out against this inflated list offered by AA?

How are we "grasping at straws"? It is the twu that is doing the grasping. The twu has abused the AMT craft and class for far too long. Now the AMTs are going to remove the twu because they failed to CHANGE FROM WITHIN! How could we possibly remain with the twu with jim little as head of the atd after he said that the NWA AMT fight for better wage and benefits was not our fight? How can we remain with the twu after we are lied to? How can we remain with the twu after they allowed jobs done by AMTs to be done by the Ramp? How can we remain with the twu after they allowed the gutting of our contract language?

As for AMFA putting blame somewhere else other then on themselves does not make sense. The twu continues to attack AMFA for being bad for our profession. If the twu is correct in this point of view then why are there 8 airlines currently represented by AMFA? Why are there NO twu/iam/ibt drives at these 8 airlines?

If YOUR twu is so powerful why did they allow the RON Cabin Cleaners to be removed and replaced with contract cleaners? Why did the twu allow the company to keep part time AMT language in the concession package?

The only one who loses is our profession. The only more pathetic then believing in the twu is supporting the twu from behind an alias.
