Here's A Competitve Issue

Just send it to the PIT Inflight dept. and white out your name and payroll number.

Leave it at the Secretary's desk. I will pick it up. There is no way. Even without your paycut, you would never be able to obtain that, Lodo, or no lodo. I make this stuff my business. You say you hold a Lodo line with all the spanish lodos we have and you are only 8 years. I will look it up on Monday in PHW

If you are making that money, you are not doing it honestly.

Myself and the other 2,500 involuntarily furloughed flight attendants sure hope that wasn't achieved through overflying.

not at all i fly my opt which is 105. and pitt i do things honestly ok . if i were not honest i would not post it . i just go to work and fly my option. i was on reserve in nov cause i was not a lodo for nov. so i know what the reserves are going through. so i do whats right when it comes to that. as far as liquor money . i have a family and i am not going to risk that for a few extra bucks its not worth it. especially when they are on to us and ready to can us for any little thing we do. i value my career and my family. will never ever do anything stupid to jeapordize that. this job is way to easy for that. i am telling you what my pay stub read for 2003. it honest hard work that put in. so don't you ever tell me that my work was not honest. and even it were liquor money it would not be posted on my stub!!

The issue is the LCC's are more productive for all work groups and we know it. To be competitive across-the-board, the company's plan to become more productive, increase flying, and average down unit costs has merit.

Here are some facts:

The current US Airways monthly pilot block hours is 53, for Southwest it's 62 and JetBlue about 69 hours per month. This needs to be increased and ALPA supports the initiative to improve productivity.

JetBlue's F/A's can fly a one-day trip from Kennedy to Long Beach and return. That's about 11 hours hard time per day. US Airways' F'A/s fly from a hub or focus city, obtain about 5.5 hours flight time per day, go to the hotel, and receive per diem. In this comparison, it takes two US Airways F/A's to perform the same work as one JetBlue F/A. Moreover, US Airways pays hotel and per diem expenses and JetBlue avoids this additional corporate expense.

Southwest's F/A's clean the cabin throughout the day, which I have done myself. It's no big deal.

United, FedEx, and Southwest outsource heavy maintenance.

Southwest has a ramp personnel job classification that cross utilizes different functions increasing productivity.

As far as the network airlines, American's W-2 wages are about 13% less than US Airways and United's flight crews get paid hard time only with no "duty rigs".

Respectfully,

I guess it could be possible until 2 months ago if you were also on the 105 option. I have more years the etops and I have never come close to that much. The most I think I ever made was around $33,000. <_<

The liquor comment was just a joke.

And the moving avatar is back by popular demand... hope it brings back memories for all. :D

Etops 1...lighten up about the liquor money. It was a JOKE! You aught to know Light Years sense of humor by now. I wa right you were/are on 105. :D

etops1,

Just fax over the stub to inflight in PIT. Access the prompts for the PIT inflight. PM me the day you send it. White out your name and payroll. I will let inflight know that I am expecting this.

"Honesty" is the overfly issue. Whatever else you are eluding to in your post, I would n't know. In the meantime, I will find out on Monday how far down the line the Spanish LODO go for holding a Block. And if was held all year at the senority year.

Don't forget to clean up the puke or wipe the lav down when a passenger misses the bowl and WN's F/As are willing to strike over not being paid for cabin cleaning.

Come on down on the ramp in CLT you can dump some lavs.

Who cares aboutr fedex, they don't fly passengers, United still does everything up to and including C-checks in house and still have an engine and componant shops and Southwest does C-checks in house and 1/4 D checks and as everyday passes by they bring more work in house.

Once again you forget to tell the whole story!

Yah....You can also visit 3d shift and say hello to Lavman (a.k.a. Biffeman, Boof, etc.). He'll show you what they do with the honey truck after the evening "deposits".

Etops 1, buddy you are cracking me up  I tell you what guys, as depressing as this sight can be, I sure get my laughs. It is quite entertaining.

How does anyone know if that is a U stub you are citing and a f/a stub to boot.

I am topped out f/a in my 23 year and fly 105 option, I made just a little more than you, and my stub is Senior pay domestic ALL YEAR.

You are not a f/a. You are in a different dept.

SW is currently in SEC 6 negotiations looking for improvements; USA f/as amendable contract date in 5 years.
