high speed, the up and coming event you speak of will only hurt the twu officers who will take a significant pay cut like the rest, A.M.F.A. is coming like it or not, o.k. got it, we are fed up as a professional group being thrown into a bus drivers union and having our pay brought down in order to support the un-skilled. if you love the twu just start throwing bags or handing out tools, we are fed up alraedy. :angry:

hss, can you show us where the twu uses the words democratic and/or accountability? I did not think you could. These are two reasons the twu will be removed from AA and the profession of the AMT.

How can the membership be more divided? The TWU has been dividing the membership since 1983 and on a consistent basis at every concessionary contract since. As long as the union receives your dues, what difference does it make how these dues are delivered?

Porkchop, how can going to hand pay with the twu encourage the same when AMFA comes in?
The only people who will be on hand pay will be ex-twu believers. Going to hand pay with the twu makes sense because why pay for a service that we pay for but do not receive? GO AMFA!

It is your right to do so if you so choose.

As far as the company benifiting from division of the ranks can you be more specific? How has our division helped them? This union speaks the same as the company? Didnt this union say we should give the company everything they asked for?Seems that most of the discontent with the TWU is not because the members feel that they stand up for the members but that the TWU is in bed with the company. How could this company do any better than they are now? It seems to me that since the company is getting everything they ask for its like not having a union at all! The only way with this union that we could be united is to agree that we should all work for less and less so the company can grow and the TWU can get more members. So in fact if we blindly unite behind the crooks of the TWU the company would benefit even more than they do already!
