An emergency landing is an emergency landing - regardless of the circumstances. Therefore, flyJOE is the winner of this round with his closest guess to FSD of KCI.

It's been a while since I've made a guess, so this time I'll pick ATL and a landing gear indication.

Let's go with the destination point of this diversion that gave me a winner, ABQ.

Judges: can we get a ruling on this one? Cause of cracked windshield is undetermined, although speculation is a bird strike at altitude.

Maybe this is what/who it hit. ha,ha,ha,

I'll take phl, landing gear

Can I get in on this?

IND - Hydraulics
Absolutely.. welcome! If your city choice is the diversion point you are the winner, but if your city is the closest diversion point from the other choices, you also win.

PurduePete- Do you also get consideration if your city was part of the city pairs on the flight that diverts?

Anyone is welcome to play!

The game is simple; there's only a couple of rules:

1. To count, an incident has be reported in the media (no internal info counts).

2. The A/C in question has to be mainline NWA. 9E,XJ, CP don't "officially" count.

Having said that, if you come across articles for these carriers, by all means post them here.

3. Person with the pick closest to the diversion airport wins.

4. The next round starts immediately thereafter.

It's just that easy.

If you don't win this round, don't worry; there'll be plenty more opportunities.....

Let's just leave it at the diversion point of the emergency landing - there's really no need to make this contest any more complicated than it needs to be :)

Clarification ? Can International Destinations e.g. YYZ, LHR count as possible guesses or is it reserved to Domestic Runs?
