Even if true, does that make anything she says less a fact?

If she's not a school teacher, what makes you think that she said any of that?

The more we find that it wasn't a teacher...or it wasn't her words...the less credible the statements that SOMEBODY made.  That not to be believed site of snopes had some interesting commentary....for being so biased, they didn't say it was totally false....but neither is it totally true. Unless of course you BELIEVE it to be true....

O,K. KC, you keep drinking that pink cool-aid and believe what you may. The fact of the matter is Denmark is not a socialist paradise as some people try and make it out to be. The simple fact of the matter is that there is no such thing as a "free lunch".

There is no such thing as free war either.  So...what's the republican plan this election?  Tax cuts and kick some ISIS ass by building up the military.  You know...free stuff.

K.C. I maybe a bit older than you, so I let you in on a little something I've learned a long time ago. There is a price to pay for everything.        If you think you can cut your military back to pre WWII levels as Obama has done, and still maintain peace for any length time, just look around. Weak up K.C. you may be able to keep your comfy lifestyle there in the middle of the country, but what about your kids, and grandkids? I have five, and don't want to hand them a country over run by Islamists extremists, or have this country end up like Venezuela.

I don't disagree.  That's why, when the planes hit the World Trade Center in 2001, I figured our tax cut would be pulled back...I knew we were at war.  It didn't happen...when our leaders were out to stop the non-threat to the USA (Saddam Hussein), I wondered how we would pay for that.  Turns out, we needed some tax cuts and a surge.

I'm all for a strong military....how the hell do you pay for it by cutting taxes?  I can only go by what I read....the last war we won, the country sacrificed.  They rationed.  They bought war bonds.  Our taxes were a helluva lot higher to pay for that war.   Even after Kennedy lowered taxes, we still had Americans making sacrifices - some saw their sons drafted.  We all still had a little skin in the game.

Today we have volunteers, so the vast majority of war hawks don't have any skin in the game...and sure as hell don't want THEIR taxes to go up to help pay for the armor or gear or weapons that the volunteers need to fight their war.  So if you want a candidate who vows to bomb the sh!t out of ISIS, why not demand a tax that would help pay for it?

Freedom isn't free.

Hey, in a lot of ways we agree. How we get there maybe another matter. But what I  would like to see avoided is that we're in a position where we have no other choose but to reinvoke the National Draft. You can't bury your head in the sand and think our enemy's will just go away. That's what Obama has done for the past eight years and look where it has got us. I served my time in the military, and my father before me, so that my children, and grandchildren wouldn't have to. And I don't what that to change!
