Issa Demands Page One Retraction from NY Times

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., is demanding The New York Times issue a front-page retraction for an article “riddled with factual errors” that looked at the congressman’s personal business dealings and the alleged overlap between them and his work in Congress.

Kind of funny really. As soon as Issa goes snooping around the gun running ATF scandal out comes a typical NYT hatchet piece. Typical Progressive move, when one of your own gets in a bit of a wringer drag out the attack dogs and play the class warfare card. Which is even funnier when 7 of the top ten wealthiest are Democrats in either the house or senate.

Top 50 richest members of Congress. Thirty one of them are republican. Of the 31 republican millionaires. Of the 50, all are white, only 11 are female. The top two are worth over $500 million combined. Those two are worth more than the next five combined. By the way, those top 7 dems you mentioned are worth the same as the top 3 republicans. OH yea, Issa is the second richest member of Congress.

No idea. Religious affiliation is not mentioned. Regardless if it is, who do we know the faith is true? Anyone can put on a act and pretend they are Christian. Look at Obama. We all know he s a practicing Muslim.

I think it is a safe bet most have some sort of faith but I doubt it is as devout as they make it out to be. I would not be surprised if most of them put on a little extra for public consumption.

I never said Conservative was unbiased. One of the reasons I watch Fox news is it's easier for me to filter out the spin and remain calm. I watched MSNBC the other night and they don't even make an attempt to hide their strident and obvious bias. Fox, at least pretends to be "Fair & Balanced". Operative word is pretends.

What's really interesting is to listen to the BBC after Fox and MSNBC. If you have the time and the stomach to sift through it all you can get a pretty idea where the truth lies

Fox at least makes a halfhearted attempt to be balanced. I told you before I find it easier with Fox to filter out the BS. With MSNBC it's impossible to filter the BS because it's all BS without even an inkling of fairness. It's the unofficial media outlet of the DNC.

CNN & Fox are the same in that they at least make an attempt to offer some balance.
