Flight Attendant Charged In Bomb Threat

Throw in the fact that Air Force One was in BNA, and that the rescue mission couldn't get to BNA in time due to DFW thunderstorms, and you've got all the ingredients for a grade A cluster.

I wonder how much effort APFA will expend to defend her?

Don't think apfa has a hand on this one, the feds do.

My, they really ARE getting bored on these flights!

Bring back meal service, give them something better to do with their time.

It was probably her way of telling the world she is not going to get her 8 hours behind the door. Perhaps if she could cause a diversion she might get more time on the ground.

What Unity?

This has got to be one of the biggest acts of stupidity I have read about in quite some time. I hope she loses her job and does some time for breaking a federal law.

JMHO...

Some time? I hear that she is facing up to 20 years!! As far as losing her job, I am sure the APFA will get it back for her in 6 months. That seems to be the only thing they are good at these days. Getting the "undeserved" their jobs back!

However, when she gets out of the federal pen her job will be waiting for her. By then she will be at least 75yrs old, and fit right in with the rest of the flight attendants at AA.

What Uity?

Perhaps she was "overtired", and reasoned that with a diversion, they might FEED the crew.

NH/BB's

Un-freaking believable!

I hope this idiot gets the maximum prison term for doing something so blatantly stupid. There is no excuse for this kind of crap.

Come on everyone, she has yet to have her day in court. Just because she has been charged, does not necessarily mean that she has actually done it. None of the articles which I have read discuss what evidence the government has which points to her as the culprit.

Spoken like a defense lawyer ;)

Of course, my statements above apply only if this person is indeed found guilty. If these allegations are true, the punishment should be quite stiff. In today's environment, this kind of behavior is inexcusable.
