First Day At Pit

Anyone know how HP's first day was at PIT at the new gates and with US handling the flights? The HP manager there is pretty good. All the managers in the past never really took an active role at PIT. He gets in the mix and works.

That was a song from a recent KDKA Channel 11 promo. Seems KDKA felt that Pittsburghers were down with their Pittsburgh selves and their town. The song "extols the virtues of Pittsburgh pride". The Sappy Singers wrote and performed this little ditty.

HP at PIT is now handled by US at their gates. AA is history.

Now someone at PIT tell me how things are going or I will set loose scorpions that sting and torment!

No but strangely I once lived near the small town of Cadiz, OH where he grew up as a boy. I was told by a Cadiz old-timer that Charles, compared to his mother the town prostitute and the rest of his dysfunctional family, was a very nice boy and ,relatively speaking, quite normal. During the winter, Charles would shovel driveways and sidewalks for old folks and would refuse payment. The general consensus was that Charles didn't become a nut on his own. Everyone was amazed he wasn't nuttier than he was considering what he went through as a child.

So how is HP doing in PIT? Everything hunky-dory?

I will try to check and see how things are going there. I went to HP training with some guys from PIT so I'll email them to see whatzup. I also heard that the trainers we have in TPA were also helping in PIT. I will ask them tomorrow.
For the first day in TPA, we took a 1 minute ramp delay on the first flight due to moving bags weight and balance. We were done at the counter 32 minutes before departure, door closed early. It was a little hectic with only 2 of us checking in (thanks to the HP helpers who stepped in to get the line moving). We didnt have our sine in codes until about an hour after checkin started and the computers rebooted right in the middle of checkin. Other than that, we did ok.
