Mashed potatoes and gravy
Apple Pie
Ice Cream Sundaes
Mac-n-cheese
Hot dogs
Hamburgers
Corn dogs
Steak
Baked potatoes
BBQ
Turkey and Dressing/Stuffing
Pizza Hut
Taco Bell
McDonalds

Now I am really hungry!

Hey guys !! I just made 2 Transatlantic flights in Envoy .
I would say I was pleasantly surprised with the service - All ( senior ) FA's were extremely polite and service was superb !!!
Not to mention that food presentation was FANTASTIC !!!!
The poached pear with blue cheese and mango compotte looked and taste great as well as Beef . Wines were also very good . Small comment about dessert - Too small portion and presentation is not so appetizing .... ( it was a small piece of cheese with tart segment ) . Overall the service was very very friendly . FA's made several runs with water or wine during the flight . CSD introduced herself to all Envoy passengers pesonally , called them by last name and wished them a GOOD flight . She also said to everyone if they need something they should call her or one of her crewmembers . Thats SERVICE !!!
Maybe we still have a chance ???? Maybe we still have a hope for better ?????
Please do not ruin that feeling !!!!!

Ah see - but you have exactly fallen into the mindest that the bozos in Tempe want you to have. You are SOOOO excited when you get decent service it's like the best thing since sliced bread. It's the old bait and switch game - drag the service down so low that anything is seen as an improvement. I doubt that your experience was even close to the old Envoy service that used to exist. (Remember the days of a cheese course AND a dessert course - followed by Godiva chocolates. And a full breakfast cart with multiple choices before arrival?)

But hey - at least the FA's were nice to you, which is pretty rare these days.

And - while the FA's might have been pleasant and nice on your flights on US Envoy - have you flown another airlines business class to Europe recently? Don't think you would be so glowing about Envoy if you fly another airline next time! Hope you didn't pay full fare for your ticket on US when for the same price you could fly another airline and get service so superior it would make your head spin!

Now don't jump ahead DogWonder. They full American Experience doesn't start until like January I think? This is actually classy. Served it last week and it looked great! I am glad usfan had a great flight but I think his expectations were low. Fly anyone else and it makes our product look like Alpo. Don't look now but marketing is perfecting our training requirements for Envoy. They will show us how to flick the wrist properly to create the best arrival cotton candy stick.

🙄 🙄 🙄 Face it Guys US is a second tier,second best, last choice airline. I think the sooner people get used to that concept the happier everyone will be. Accept the fact that Steve Kinsgley and his side kick Tim Donnelly ( old USair mentality ) are running / ruining dining and cabin services. They NEVER had a clue and never will. Its laughable... "A Unqiue American Experience" - translated means NO Style, Lack Of Ingenuity, and a cheapened product that could never compete with CO UA, AA, NW, or DL. If the braniacs in Tempe ha d a clue they would be dangerous. Its time to accept it for what it is and MOVE ON!

I made a Business class trip on KLM last week . Also Transatlantic .
Tell the truth - It was disaster !!!!! First of all - Seats were not better then our Envoy class . Same recline , same old and dirty seatcover . Very small long roll-pillow . In one word - UNCOMFORTABLE .
Food service - I've seen better days !!!!
As a starter we got one small slice of a salmon and cheese kisch segment . Main dish - Beef steak with potatoes . It was overcooked and dry and all potatoes burned !!!! One small piece of chocolate-raspberry tart . Thats all . No salad , no cheese , no other sweets or so ..... Did not see FA's after dinner at all .
Breakfast service started 2 hours prior to arrival with small cold cuts , fruit salad , jam tea and coffie . Nothing special .
Last month I flew AIR FRANCE Business class - Here I can not compare with US meal service . But Crew were uninterested and not friendly to all passengers I would even say - they were rude !!!!
AF meals are best from all European carriers at the moment in Economy class .
British Airways Economy service is also on a pair with AF - GOOD .
To my experiance - AUSTRIAN AIRLINES is the best Business Class service from European carriers . Read SKYTRAX comments from passengers - Seats are nice , Food - superb ( a star restaurant quality and presentation ) , crew polite and funny . Made a lot of trips with OS within Europe and Transatlantic few years ago . I guess that now service level is even better then few years ago . I ve heard they cook meals now in the galley on a small cooking plate . Almost all dishes prepared onboard by SKYCHEF fresh !!!! No frozen food , no trays - really restaurant quality ......
