The republicans are not going to repeal the Patriot act. They are the hawks. They like to be able to spy on people. hey are not going to repeal ACA. They will pass the bills in the House and Senate but Obama will veto it and the GOP will be very happy about that because while the GOP says they want to repeal the ACA they do not have a clue or an idea of how to fix the health care system in the US. I would laugh my ass off if Obama signed the bill to abolish ACA. The GOP would crap their pants. Then the US would see what they have to replace it which is nothing. Obama EO's bad ... all other EO's good. As of 10/20 Bush is up 100 EO's and Clinton is up another 160 from Bush.SparrowHawk said:

Workig together is a two way street. Obama was not willing to work with the GOP and the GOP was not going to work with Obama.
People did not vote because there was nothing to vote for and people are frustrated with the system. This was the first election since I was able to vote that I did not vote. I want to feel bad about it, I know I should feel bad about it ... but I don't I'm a liberal in TX so it's not as if my vote means anything, and I am just fed up with all the BS. I'll vote in 2016 but that vote will be wasted as well.

The republicans had control of the WH and Congress for several years and did nothing to secure the border. Democrats had control of the WH and Congress for several years and did nothing to secure the border. That tellls me that both parties have a vested interest in keeping the border open.
Instead of murding people we could try going after the employers? Perhaps fine them $10,000 a head if they have any illegals on their pay roll. That would get their attention. Take away the incentive and people will stop coming. Neither party is interested in doing that and fools like you and South would rather murder people. It's no wonder nothing is going to get done about it.

#1 Sniper towers was a joke, though I'm sure they would be a great deterrent, on people entering the country "IILEGALLY"!
