'Duck Dynasty' Dad Suspended Following Anti-Gay Remarks

Nice read up.  You'll never hear the media report about how Muslims treat homosexuals.  That would be going against the gay movement in the US.
Yep. Only when conservatives/christians voice their opinion does the Libtard Left, get their panties in a wad !

What does treatment of homosexuals in the ME have to do with treatment of homosexuals here in the US? Gays here in the US should not be seeking equal rights because it could be much worse?

How does abuse of gays in the ME go agaist their movement?
Do you honestly believe Muslims view or treat homosexuals differently in the ME vs. the U.S.?

If I have to answer that then you are just too stupid and will never understand...I will offer a hint though and that is the left medias fav religion is Islam.
So you have no reasong to deny equal rights?

Probably not but that begs the question, who cares? I suspect their POV is comparable to Skin Heads, KKK, and various other religious zealots. That's why we have laws that protect people from bias.

Hit the nail on the head Tree............"Who Cares"..........until it involves a "White Christian Male", then it's a call to arms for the gay community!
When's the last time GLAAD had some type of rally condemning Islamic beliefs? Try NEVER!

When is the last time a Christian group stood up for the rights of someone or something that they personally did not believe in?

As for GLAAD, if someone attacks you people tend to fight back. What is it you expect them to do?

I think they should raise the age of abortion to........ How old are you again Ms Tree?

In all seriousness I only support abortion in cases of rape and incest and I prefer other options such as adoption.

Abortion should not be used as a form of birth control for irresponsible people.

If a women does not want a baby she should use protection or keep her legs closed.
Well said.

There were complaints about the show showing the family sitting at the table having their prayer led by guess who, the Robertson under attack. GLAAD was hoping to Chik-Fil-A  the show out of sponsors. Like Tree, they feel the need to poke a stick at Christians like myself because we support traditional family values.

This whole thing is going to backfire on GLAAD. The show has gotten more exposure than could have imagined. Who knows maybe to prime time ABC?

Wouldn't it be ironic if Duck Dynasty knocks off Modern Family?

I'd be GLAAD to see that happen.

Stop lying about my position.

First off you don't support traditional family values. You support your version of family values. If you want to claim you support traditional values then you have to admit you support arraigned marriages, women as property and a host of other convenient beliefs.

Secondly, I could care less what you believe in. Just stop trying to force your beliefs on others.

I think it'd be great if ABC wound up running them back to back. Both shows' target demographics have a lot to learn from each other...

I think I'm in more of a defensive position, defending against those who attack Christians.

I'm inclinded to agree with Kev. Maybe he has a good idea.

I know I have had a heck of a time finding a Christmas display or anything. There is legislation being proposed all the time trying to outlaw Christianity (OK so there is no such legislation). Only recently was Christianity removed from the psychological disorder list.

The reality seems to disagree with the idea of any war on Christians. If you want these "attacks" to stop then stop trying to force your beliefs on the rest of us.

IMO, the attack on Christianity is yet another ginned up controversy designed to keep us all at each other's throats. I'm willing to bet that if you asked a random group of people their thoughts, the results would be much more "center" than we might think.

As for family? It's what you make it. Some are big, traditional, and close knit like the Robertson family. Some more closely reflect what you see on Modern Family. Maybe yours consists of the group of people you spend 40 hrs./week with-FWIW, one of the best Christmas (yes, Christmas) dinners I ever had was at the MEM airport with my crew courtesy of KLM.

I have examples of all 3 in my life. I'm willing to bet we all do. I'm also willing to bet that if Phil Robertson & Wilson Cruz met, they'd have a helluva good time once the initial awkwardness wore off.

Love always wins.

"Turns out Sarah Palin, who has been one of Duck Dynasty’s biggest defenders, hasn’t actually read the GQ interview that includes cast member Phil Robertson’s controversial comments on homosexuality and other subjects.

When pressed by Fox News host Greta Van Susteren whether the language Robertson used when talking about his opposition to homosexuality was graphic and offensive, Palin admitted she didn’t know what Robertson had said."

“I haven’t read the article. I don’t know exactly how he said it,” Palin said Monday on Fox News’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”
