'Duck Dynasty' Dad Suspended Following Anti-Gay Remarks

Conservatives regularly defend the rights of others? Please list a few. If conservatives do it regularly it should be real easy to find 5 or so right off the bat.

When I get home Ill post a list of conservative caees the ACLU has defended. We can compare lists.

"As Katie reported earlier today, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is leading a new nationwide anti-abortion bill, The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, in the Senate. The lifesaving legislation, which is already law in Texas, would prohibit abortion at 20 weeks. The senator held a press conference this morning with pro-life leaders to further discuss the law he says would save more than 15,000 unborn children each year."

How about the rights of unborn children who some libs claim they have no rights?

We need more reps like Lindsey and laws like they have in Texas.

I would like to shake that APFA rep's hand.

Why did AA want you gone?

I am sure the TWC just told you what you wanted to hear so you would go away and they would not have to listen to your incessant nonsense.

Maybe instead of calling yourself Ms Tree you should call yourself Ms Take.

If that's the Texas Workforce Commission I'm sure you are correct.

"The basic rule of Texas employment law is employment at will, which applies to all phases of the employment relationship - it means that absent a statute or an express agreement (such as an employment contract) to the contrary, either party in an employment relationship may modify any of the terms or conditions of employment, or terminate the relationship altogether, for any reason, or no particular reason at all, with or without advance notice."

How is that an example of what Eric said?

I was responding to your remarks concerning your question about conservatives defending the rights of others. "Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is leading a new nationwide anti-abortion bill"

I would think Sen Graham would be considered a conservative.

Others could be considered the unborn. Millions since Roe v Wade. Not just a few.

I was responding to Eoleson statement that conservatives defend the rights of other even thoses that are vile or offensive. Both sides of the aisle defend the rights of others. Defending the rights of others that you dissagree with is what the point is. I know the ACLU does this all the time. I asked Eoleson for examlles of conservatives defending rights they disagree with.

Sorry for the confusion if my request was not clear.

The only examole that comes to mind is the republican who argued against the prop8 in CA. As I recall he was a Bush appointee. I do not know if he agreed with the idea but knew it was a violation of the law or if he was against it in it entierty in which case it would not be an example.

I think they should raise the age of abortion to........ How old are you again Ms Tree?

In all seriousness I only support abortion in cases of rape and incest and I prefer other options such as adoption.

Abortion should not be used as a form of birth control for irresponsible people.

If a women does not want a baby she should use protection or keep her legs closed.

hen don't have an abortion if you don't believe in it.

Spoken like a misogynistic male chauvinist pig.

Ms Tree I do not need to respond to you. Every one on here sees you for the nut job you are.

You are not worth my time.

You truly are the fool of fools.

You have never responded to anything.  All you do are hurl insults.  You have yet to back up any of your BS with any facts or sources.  You cloak your hatred of women, gays and who knows who else in some twisted religious BS that you cherry pick and ignore all the things that do not support your vitriol.  You are on the losing team.  Kids in catholic schools are protesting, 18 states accept same sex marriage, and more will follow.  Hatred is losing and you just can't stand it.

The issue here isn't free speech.

It's tolerance and hypocrisy.

Conservatives regularly defend the rights of others to say things even if they find it offensive and vile.

Liberals regularly label opposing viewpoints as hate speech and demand action be taken to silence whatever they find offensive.

A&E knew the Robertsons were deeply religious, and have cashed in on that. Why they chose to react as they did is boggling, and they'll take a hit for it one way or another.

What does treatment of homosexuals in the ME have to do with treatment of homosexuals here in the US? Gays here in the US should not be seeking equal rights because it could be much worse?

How does abuse of gays in the ME go agaist their movement?
