My opinion? Well I am sure it does not amount to a hill of beans. But I would say, all 3 unions (well maybe two, I think the pilots have a little bit more brain power) will want to re-vote (wa-wa-wa) and lead AA into bankruptcy. After that you will have your fate decided by a judge. I am pretty sure you will not like what the judge will do with your work rules.
My opinion is, unions are a thing of the past. I have a family member in a union at the other bankrupt airline. He sees fleet service clerks have his peers clock people in and out without them ever being there. Guess what? They have been there for years! Unions protecting people for sitting at home while collecting a paycheck. If you don''t think it happens at American....remember the clerk in BOS who got arrested while on the clock on his overnight shift, and was not at work.
Just my 2 cents. I hope everyone can work things out.
