I don’t believe in biting the hand that feeds you and I strongly believe that the people that post on this board still go to work everyday and do the best they possibly can regardless of the company's lack of concern towards its assets (it's employees)totobird said:I can honestly say the people in my department are longing for the day USAirways shuts down. The vast majority are tired of the waiting game and tired of being lied to. How long do you put your life on hold ?
Most are ready to move on to new ventures.
The morale in my department is absolutely terrible. The overriding feeling is the future of USAirways is not good and most have accepted that.
Kudos to the IAM for refusing to open the contract. I only hope they stick to their guns this time. Enough is enough.
That being said I concur with Toto, everyone I work with myself included is tired of their life being put on hold and have had more than enough of the doom and gloom that we hear about on a daily basis. I've said this in the past but most of my fellow coworkers are already working two jobs so that when U finally does pull the plug they have something else going in terms of employment.
I also believe if it wasn’t for the free pretzels 95% of the employees would have quit a long time ago.
