Do We Need F/a Bases At Stl And Rdu

miAAmi, MOUTH IF THE SOUTH.

The F/A's in STL would not be forced if your union was really a union and gave the TWA F/A's their senority

Why cant you stay on topic. Why try to hijack a topic to promote your own agenda

The TWA flight attendants need to move on with their lives. AA is not going to expand anytime soon, they are just reallocating aircraft. AA has defered aircraft deliveries far into the future. If there is expansion to be done it will be with Eagle. I believe that the flight attendants contract has 5 year recall rights and the TWA flight attendants have been gone for around two. With the way this industry is going, I don't think AA will expand in the next 3 years.

They are also APFA represented fellow employees. Who's unions job is to protect them and there positions. Look to see nothing less than an extention to the recall rights.

Do you really think that AA will extend the recall period so that 4,400 mostly topped out flight attendants can be recalled? As I stated earlier, in my opinion, Eagle will do the expansion. I believe that as AA expands internationally, they will just turn more and more domestic over to Eagle which means zero net expansion for AA.

As it should be. Question - Would making a STL satallite base effect any agreement regarding the TW'ers? I Know there are alot of TW'ers that would prefer a LGA/JFK call back. Kirckpatrick do you agree?

Another hijacked thread, people putting words in people's mouths, overreacting, and generally being way too sensitive.

At least I know I'm in the right place.

FWIW, I say keep STL open so we can expand easily if needed, close RDU, and re-open SJU.

Now, you may continue overreacting by trying to figure out where my secret hatred lies.

Have a nice day!
