Our Unions also sold labor down the river with "The No Strike Clauses" in our contracts. I would love to honor a pilot/mechanic/flight attendant strike (in the event of)...but my Union says it's illegal for me to do so. Gone are the days when NW struck (I believe in the mid 60's) and UA,AA,CO,US,EA,PA,etc went too--in support of NW. In response, The Corps gave the Unions hefty raises, to the point of head shaking levels, but traded short term security for it..Now we're (labor) mice, and the Corps are again, Fat Cats--pawing at the separated work groups. If an individual thinks he or she is more important than someone else, solidarity has no chance. Judging from some of the posters in here, if I'm a Cat--I'm a hungry Cheshire--laughing at the next meal, or mice! Sorry, it's the way it is methinx...If a person works for someone else, it is what it is...
