Below is an e-mail sent out over jointogether, a list serv set up to facilitate the new afa-CWA organizing drive. With this letter, the drive sounds official. The only changes that I made were to remove names and phone numbers.
With all of the things happening to current afa-CWA members, you would think that they would have something better to do with their limited resources.
Want to read the list serv first hand? The Deltaafa website states:
"It’s easy to join the conversation — simply send an email to [email protected]with the words SUBSCRIBE JOINTOGETHER followed by your email address in the body of the message."

Dear ACTivist:
You might have received the following email. If you did not, this
is how I passed on our current campaign news to the people I
know. Perhaps you can use it.
Please feel free to copy and paste, plagiarize or change anything
which might be helpful to you in passing on information to
your "Ten Little Indians" so they can by on the page as to what
we're doing now in this campaign for representation.
Let's work those email and phone trees which you took the time to
build.
Let's work with AFA/CWA to organize. Let's work together.

Dear Organizing Committee Member:
Did you get your AFA/CWA mailer a few weeks ago?
Yes? Did you mail it in?
By updating your Authorization Card today, you renew the six
months already consumed in this card campaign. You probably
signed your card last fall, and it's only good for a year. We
have others who still have to pledge their vote and we need some
time to get them on board.
No? You didn't receive the AFA/CWA Authorization Card?
This means that AFA/CWA does not have your current address on
file.
Contact AFA/CWA by calling, emailing, writing E L,
Patricia Friend's personal assistant, at:
PHONE: 800/424-2401
EMAIL: [email protected]
SNAIL MAIL: AFA/CWA, 501 Third Street, NW, 9th Floor, Washington,
DC 20001-2797
Make sure you have a valid Authorization Card on file and that you
receive future mailings.
THINGS TO DO NOW:
1. Renew your card, if you haven't done so already.
2. Utilize the email and phone trees your worked to build since
this organizing campaign started on July 7, 2003. You have news
to pass on. It's time to put your good work to work.
You might have received email or phone contact from one of the two
AFA/CWA Flight Attendants who have just started to work on our
campaign:
M Q, furloughed UAL F/A: tele: 646/,
email: [email protected]
D H, PDX based Alaskan Air F/A:
email: [email protected]
They are asking for the names of your "Ten Little Indians" who you
will pass information on to and your input for a future
newsletter. Contact El L, M Q and D
H.
Thank you for the work you do. Let's get the cards signed, the
pledges for a vote to get some control of our work life. Need
cards? Contact AFA/CWA per above or contact me.

A T, NYC
