Well to you westies throwing us off the jumpseat I think you will be hearing from Skinner soon or at least one Capt on flt 560 MCO-PHL the other day. An east pilot trying to get to work was refused jumpseat while leaving the cockpit both were laughing about, real class act these two.

I have time and again expressed my opposition to denying jumpseat request,

However, I triple dog dare the company to take disciplinary action toward the West captain , when they have seen fit to ignore West complaints of the same actions by east captains.

Got a date and fly number?

They are ALL children, I don't care where they are based.

Come on Claxon...what's up with these page long posts???
I am wondering the same thing.

A letter from Stephan reiterating the fact that the Nic does not go away by changing unions.

A second Stephan letter stating the West has had enough of the east's BS.

And a resolution from the executive council stating that ALPA has received the $300,000 from the company, therefore the SLI portion of the Ta has been satisfied.

Hey Claxhole, won't be long now if the merger goes through.

The MOU is going to pass by 73% or more. The Nic will be used in the SLI, and usapa will be a bad memory.

It did not happen.....

Luv is throwing out another lie trying to paint the West in a bad light.

He is the the biggest scab POS on this board, and has been caught in his fabrications over and over and over again!

Just curious, did any west pilots on here go to one of the PHX road shows, and if so what was your take on the whole thing, SLI included?

This isn't meant as flame bait. I know a few west poster's have been pretty vocal on the SLI process, and I'm just wondering if you heard anything to change your thoughts or maybe reaffirm your initial thoughts.

No question, he has "issues". He is working overtime with a ton of misinformation in an effort to get the MOU voted down. Most of the malcontents won't bother to go to a roadshow.

For any poker players here: What sort of "Tell" on this wholesale BS do you immediately read from: "...despite the enormous cost of the PIC’s investigation." ? Those honestly supportive of any endeavor rarely see even the slightest need to note any "enormous cost"...just sayin'. Why even mention any cost at all, much less color it with "enormous cost", if one is truly a sincere supporter of the effort?

My BS meter's now pegged here.

Didn't the "enormous cost" of the PIC get covered "off budget?' I seem to recall many Special Assessment invoices, and just as many check written for the PIC. If the pilots voted for it, what's it to Hummel?

But it does matter that your vacation is going to take a hit if this MOU is ratified. Typical.

I'll get the APA right on that.
How's that...same days with more pay per day? Oh, and I think the MOU will be ratified. I'm guessing 4 to 1. Most of us are sick of this contract. I didn't see much in the roadshow that gave me pause.

Of course you didn't see anything that gave you pause. The roadshow is a sales pitch. Does Coca-Cola tout the dangers of diabetes and obesity in its commercials?

It really is amazing how readily some folks "assume the position"! I guess once you get used to being "bent over" it must start to be "no big deal".

In the "fine print" department, I noticed that the MOU LTD changes are kind of a "mixed bag", while the coverage is raised to 60% from 50%, the company will stop contributing the current 10% to the DBP, which they currently do. Kind of a wash, but gets to be a bigger deal when the DBP contribution goes to 14% and then 16%. At least we don't have to pay the $1,200/yr towards the coverage like we have been and they no longer steal your PBGC and or any Military Retirement from you as a offset!

seajay

Just to be clear: We have no DBP.

You want this voted down...what's your plan B? LOA93 for the duration? Why is it that you know more than the NAC, our lawyers, our paid advisor and the APA plus most of USAPA leadership? Maybe you just want to cram one up the company's wazoo? Better protect your own in the process. Our track record on that sort of thing isn't too good.
