Mostly rain clouds and Debbie downers on here
Sounds like a mutual masturbation society.
Mostly rain clouds and Debbie downers on here When you get back post that it was awful, it makes them feel alive.
Wow, that was kind of out of line. If they want to have a group of employees who do things like ski trips, etc, so what? Lots of companies have similar programs. While Fly4free has some views we do not agree with, I am not sure he/she deserved a response as harsh as this..... :unsure:Well enlighten us?

When I go to work it's to earn a freaking living and not hob nob around my co-workers after hours.
I love who I work for! SO Friggin' what! It's a job, a means to an end. If it closed tomorrow I'd get another job.
Only reason Companies do these kinds of things is so you won't notice how poorly you're paid.
Tell me, when you get together do all the men wear "Cact Ties" instead of neckties
No problem. Forget it. Pineybob is just looking for some reason to trash US Airways.. little does he know all companies pretty much have a social club.Wow, that was kind of out of line. Thanks for the invite, Fly4free.

Sounds good. My only question is who pays the reimbursement when reimbursements exceed income to the fund? It's a program where you can get reimbursed for activities you do with other employees. It only costs $1 per paycheck. As long as 5 or more cactus club members attend, they will reimburse you up to $25 for each event. A couple of dinners or sporting events . .your membership is paid for.
Some people don't get it Piney. Corporate America cares about 2 things,Yes and they are sponsored by the company. They used to be sponsored by the unions to build solidarity. Did you know that?
In modern corporate America there is ONE reason to sponsor a social club and that is to get the employees distracted into thinking a company "Cares". Well a company can't "care" as it is not a living breathing organism. The purpose is to keep you docile and complient.
And those have nothing to do with social clubs. If I gave you a bathroom sink you'd bash US Airways. Some people don't get it Piney. Corporate America cares about 2 things,
1) Themselves
2) Make the Shareholders Happy

I'm so glad we have people like you flying on our airline! Let me guess, do you complain if the FA winks at your seatmate and not you?
:censored: you.
.. with the gleam of a knife hiding behind her back..The FA always winks at Bob.
