Perfect! The ultimate Republican vision of the future.

Over at jetBlue, they don't even need cleaners, they "allow" the pilots and F/As to demonstrate their love of the company by doing the cleaning.

Gotta love non-union monkeys.

Or TWU represented Flight attendants, same thing I guess except you have to fork over two hours pay per month to the TWU. TWU represented flight attendants clean SWA's planes for free!

Thats B.S Bob, the record shows that if you want to get rid of your "union probelms", you get rid of the workers. If you want to do that, you get the amfa in there and kill two birds with one stone ( outsource the work and have massive layoffs). You know, like they did at NWA or like they just announced at Alaska.

Oh really? Explain the fact that American Airlines spends more on outsourcing than any other airlline. In fact they spend more on outsourcing than many other carriers spend on maintenance. This is in addition to the fact that AA is the only "union" carrier to practice in house outsourcing by transferring work away from mechanics to lower paid workers. Lets also not forget the foreign workers who are not under our contract but since they are AA employees the work they do is considered "in house" .

By the way you didnt have anything to say about SWA who will soon be making well over $10/hour more than us. Thats $400/week! You also neglected to mention that we have lost over 3000 jobs, in addition to 25% of our compensation.

This has always been a cyclical industry. The main reason why other airlines are outsourcing is because the TWU gave AA such low rates that no one could compete. Great for AA, good for the TWU, bad for workers all across the industry.

We value seniority mainly because once we gain it we hope that we are no longer hit by the downturns. we pay our dues by hiiting the street until we get enough time. That was one of the things that unions provided for airline workers. Thanks to the TWU thats no longer the case, now even our most senior workers get whacked while the junior workers still hit the street. Basically this union, the TWU has destroyed everything that was good about this industry, and they did it because they were greedy. They could not raid to get more members so they undersold all the other workers in the industry. Just look though this industry, if you want to find the lowest paid workers, the only workers that are represented by request of the company, you will find the TWU. Worldwide, Triangle, Ogden, AMR, the TWU has devastated the workers of this industry. Low wages an even no benifits but they still get their dues!

Hopefully we will be the first to rid ourselves of these crooks, then I hope that others will do the same. AMFA and the AGW now!
