Meanwhile, Delta worker groups have waged a high-profile campaign to build opposition to the merger.

Hundreds of workers, retirees and other supporters worked Capitol Hill this week, holding a rally, talking with lawmakers and handing out literature. At Wednesday's hearing, about 50 pilots dressed in black Delta uniforms lined the walls of the overstuffed hearing room.

Outside, Delta supporters crowded a winding staircase, hoping for a seat inside the second-floor room. Their line stretched to the basement and down a corridor.

US Airways appeared to have no supporters present beyond executives.

Maybe if the transition agreements were done and employees were actually paid "market rate" as Parker has said he would. Mr. Parker would not have been alone on the hill.

Al Hemenway will never learn anything when it comes to giving the employees what they deserve.

last I checked, all unions agreed with management on what fair should look like.

Too bad the fleet service have an IAM contract, maybe they would have a better idea of fairness and gotten a paid vacation day for King day last week. It really sez alot about a union when non-contract people on the property have more holidays [7] than the dues payers. The list can go on.
