BREAKING NEWS: US Airways Election Dates Announced!

thanks 700 i thought it was a vote for union rep or no union bec that is what came out and came out clear...

Robbedagain,
Yes, im quite sure there will be an agreement prior to joint talks. The iam has done and said all the right things.
The release is an explicit action that digs in even further on this position. Its agreement with the twu also recognizes this.
The real question is if the iam is going to F everything up and start a traveling bs show after signing a ta that blows. Remember, they said all the right things at hal and united as well.
At this point we should support the nc. Im encouraged by the legal positioning and i dont see any reason why a fair agreement cant be attained unless the company wants to drag out the merger or the iam panics and folds its cards after the company waits it out.
This ta will probably be the last contract for anyone over 50 or close to 50 so i think its worthy to just hold our position, no hurry, and lets do things right since we have position. Every indication by action and word suggest that the nc shares this view.
The company only offered what amounted to across the pay scale of an avg less than 2% raises. So things are nowhere close.

The legal process will have the twucalling for single carrier sometime around april, 2014. The iam will be in position to argue against single carrier. Single carrier probably wont be determined until sometime during summer of 2014. Then the association will ask for a vote. Remember, the association cant do this before single carrier so the association wont be certified until presumably fall 2014. Along the way, the iam will be in intense negotiations for usairways.
After the association, the association will continue to recognize those singular talks.

Believe what you want, I asked you to prove it by showing my name receiving payment on an LM2 from any local, district or international.

Hint, you wont cause I dont.

You do realize I have lots of friends still out there whom I keep in contact with.

I asked you to prove your IBT pension statements ...you couldn't ...I proved you lied. You have friends? I doubt it.

700 lies about everything. He lied about ibt pensions and lied about iampf. He works for the iam. Unless he is a moron who decides to waste 60 hours a week on something he has no tangible interest in.

I guess you cant read and comprehend Tim, are you blinded for your unsuccessful grabs for power?

Keep trying, like I said, show me an LM-2 with payment to me after 2005, they are all online.

And google any pension issues under the IBT and you will find it.

And I am so glad you are all concerned about me and not the issues. And by the way prove to me and the board that you say I am on here 60 hours a week, as I am never signed in at all.

Tim even though you say there are similarities btwn ual and hal with the iam negogiations... i firmly believe unlike those two airlines we have a lot more leverage esp now. yes its terriffic that we finally asked to be released from talks but the bottom line is the nmb will come back and say keep talkin but i personelly highly doubt that this monkey arse mgmt and the iam will get an agreement before the merger... i want to be proven wrong on that one but given how its taken soo long there is no reason to think those monkey clowns at tempe would want to settle before the merger when they can stall all they want til they are given the green light and say now we are one big airline lets sit down n talk etc thats exacty what i firmly believe they want.. they want to stall as long as they can til they get the green light from the feds... the nmb will play right along and wait or do something similar.. i would like to see 700 opin on this to see if he would agre that this is basically the same type of case as the maintaince though i am fully aware of the maintaince with their fight against the ibt etc in short this is going to be a long hot drawn out summer

I guess you cant read and comprehend ..

Robbedagain, the association has recognized the singular talks and unless it flips like a pancake there is nothing that forces joint talks. i support everything said and done, and the iam had the same leverage and greater at united. However at the end of the day they took the leverage and tried to cash it in for iam gain. Politics should keep the iam at bay until at least after the mx determinations.

I wouldnt bet against the iam coming back with a mini contract with no enhanced scope or even amr pay, and saying "this is it". Ill will pound the iam leaders if they sellout like that. I do think that if anyone on that nc had our backs that it would be cb.

I agree. UA wants everything under a single agreement so they can streamline the operation. Why they agreed to a bankruptcy like agreement is beyond me. Had they agreed to it, whenever the talks get reopened in 4-6 years that incentive for the company won't exist. Hopefully this second time around they will try and get it right. Why did they abandon the CO cargo employees? I guess because they gave away cargo years ago and won't fight for the CO jobs? Face it, in many ways Fly to Win is better than the current PCE agreement, certainly better than the T/A. IBT (IAM administered) Ramp agreement was also superior to the T/A.

No, I missed my calling to work in this industry. Have several friends that fly for CO and travel on AA for my job in finance.
