(ATLANTA BUSINESS CHRONICLE) -- Employees of American Airlines and US Airways were told by their parent company they can earn up to $150 each month if they outdo Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines and two other big rivals in on-time arrivals, baggage handling and customer satisfaction.

I'll put as much effort into beating Delta (or anyone else) as management does into negotiating a new contract with my work group and the mechanics.

Monthly carrot or no, I'm indifferent to who falls where in the DOT's monthly rankings. DL can keep the top slots for all I care.
