BALLS of STEEL check in

With contract negotiations comming up in a few weeks, are you prepared to strike if need be? I don't think they can find enough qualified mechanics to replace us. It's a gamble I'm willing to take, we did our part to allow AA to take their profits and pay down debt, buy airplanes ect. Enough is enough!

AA M&R balls of steel...
Thanks for the laugh...

If your fine with your YES vote, that's fine with me. I'm just sorry you gave up. Take care.

We all have our demons and situations to deal with. No need to bring them up here.

I just never thought I would see Informer, HSS and CIO on the same side of an issue.

****CODE BLUE BALLS OF STEEL ADVISORY****

A CODE BLUE BALLS means a strike is possible but not likely.

If you signed an AMP card, finish your paper and crossword, go about life as normal.

If you have not signed, consult your twu Fear Manual, on page 514 you will find instructions on how to panic, located next to, the Duck and Cover drill, and How to use the nose and glasses to sneek through the picket line.

Stay tuned........this is not a drill

Hey Duke 787, I see your here, I think you need to take your "Balls of Steel" over to the other thread; "What's the Attitude in Tulsa" and apologize to Marlene.

While your on bended knees, maybe you could ask her to sign an AMP card???

She seems to like your style also....

GET A LOAD OF THIS!

After the TWU had to disclose its financial costs and salaries to the Department of Labor last week, a few interesting facts have come to light.

Marlene Borisuck (Jim Little’s secretary) earns $140,853.00
Francine Albach (Secretary) $116, 319.00
Frank McCann Jr (Director of Organising) $171,453.00 Son of a late TWU VP
Karen Avants (Secretary) $80,872.00 Daughter of retired TWU Intl VP
Robin and Tim Gillespie (Secretary and Staff Rep) total $173,132.00
Bernadette Uckele (Secretary) $116,319.00
Don Videtich (Staff Rep) $151,054.00
Robert Wechsler (Education Director) $176,220.00
Carlean Williams (Secretary) $122,161.00

The list goes on and on, to the tune of $6,000,000.00 and all the above are appointments and never appear on a ballot. It’s a family affair!
Fill out an AMP card now!

This my friends, should make your Gilded Circular Wonders of STEEL shine !!!!!!

Wrong thread Informer! This is "BALLS of STEEL" not "OVARIES of BRASS". What happens if the company tells us to "go pack sand" ? Are you with us?

Too funny.... This informer probly has his balls on E,s mantle.....

For those of you who watched the video and don't know who this guy is, his name is Lee Seham. His firm has offices in White Plains NY, Manhattan NY, Houston TX, MSP and SEA. From what I understand, he not only represents the US AIR pilots, but also the NBA refs. and several other labor organizations including AMFA. I'm pretty sure he said his father was a labor attorney, so it runs in the family, just like the twu int. payrole. I'd much rather pay this guy, than have 140K a year secretary, for our 250k a year president. Sign an AMP card so we can use our dues money for tangible items, like professional council.

Well isn't this special. I like the part at 6:07 in the video when Seham is talking about traveling worn paths and he points to Don at his left and says this is the worn path Don suggests you take. Well Don from what I can recall was a former self appointed unelected president of AMFA Local 12 here in Tulsa. He and his cast of dissidents wanted us to follow AMFA's lead down the well worn path right off the cliff, just like Northwest Mechanics did. Its looking more and more like there is some connection to AMFA/AMP... B)

What would you guess the fee's would be for the Seham retention. He has 5 offices in five major cities, he must have secretaries as well as partners and other staff to operate his firm and you note that he represents NBA ref's too. Isn't that kinda like representing a card dealer in Vegas?

So much for a mechanics only craft union idea when you intermingle your legal representation with other labor organizations....

You know High Speed, when you make postings such as this it clearly demostrates that because the TWU has kept you in the undemocratic cocooned time warp bubble for so long, you cannot even grasp the idea of a Democratic Union. Just because AMFA membership voted to take a path of demise at NWA, doesn't mean that any other Airline's Union Membership would do the same. If that was case, then Southwest AMT's would have fallen off the Cliff by now. The membership with an AMP or AMFA Constitution would have the choice of using Seham or not. And I doubt the motion to vote on such an issue would be illegally tabled like what happens at Local 514. I would bet Sehams fees are far less than the total of Big Splash, LaborFest, Oilers Hockey, 66'ers Basketball, Talons Football, and all the other non-essential dues drain happening with your current representation.

You also apparently cannot grasp the concept that those distributing cards could be passing out AMFA cards instead of AMP cards. They obviously chose a change of Constitution for a reason, and most likely that reason is directly related what happened at Northwest. Give them a little credit for doing that instead of repeating the old and tired TWU political mantra of attack your enemy while you are failing your own membership. The only real connection between AMFA/AMP is there are some of the same players organzing. That is not surprising to me though. It takes a certain kind of individual to stand up and take on a challenge like an organizing drive at American Airlines. And Lord knows there are not many willing to stand up for anything within the TWU dues paying ranks, much less standing up to get rid of the TWU. Most of those standing up as supporters for the TWU have to be paid or taken off the clock so that doesn't count when comparing to organizers that are unpaid and volunteer their time. Again recognize the difference and give them some credit.

You really need to try to wrap your brain around the idea of a democratic union and what that might really look like. When you make statements like those you made above it appears you think all unions are as undemocratic as the TWU and therefore what happens at one carrier must surely happen at another. That is not so though. Your arguements and beliefs applied to the TWU would mean you must concede that we are soon to follow the same path of Eastern Airlines and Pan American. Which means you best submit some applications on file and renew your resume. We I read those postings my first thought is to snicker in disgust. Then I realize that this is exactly how the TWU controls the direction and it isn't your fault, you have been trained to believe this way. And that my friend is not one damn bit funny.

If you cannot grasp the concept of Union Democracy and Membership Supreme authority, then are least try to apply the same standards that you choose the use as fodder against AMP and compare them directly and in the same principle against the TWU Cloak and Bus Steering Wheel.

I know you are smart enough to understand my point so I will stop ranting now.
