August 2013 Pilot Discussion

"Crafted" falsely implies some sort of logical thought process. Old man NIC did not have that. A pilot with Seventeen years of unbroken service going behind a new hire? So stupid a caveman would see the folly. You cannot and will not ever see that award implemented on this property. RR (now tell me how little pay I get)

And you cannot AAnd will not see a DOH list at a stand alone or AA merged USairways.

Ever.....

And you'll sadly exit a bitter and purely opportunistic old fool, that wanted nothing more than to sell out and "eat our young" for your own, entirely selfish purposes. Per this mess at least?: I'll sleep well for the remainder of my life. You can wallow in "poor, pitiful me...I just wanted the top spot in PHX!" for so long as it suits you to do so. Don't expect any even halfway decent people to ever care.....

And USAPA will never get enough cards. Straight DOH with conditions restrictions removes the possibility of a "Nic failure" for APA. It essentially could give the APA a sure thing as to protecting what they have now, and expect career wise. I am not giving up yet. RR

George indeed maintains jurisdiction over the award, one that will always exist in stasis as an example of just how failed a bargaining agent can be. Other than the example of our seventeen year pilot, you won't hear me argue particulars on a bargaining position that was part of a failed ALPA process. As to MDA, I do not subscribe to the Company position on those pilots. It’s up to the union to negotiate their proper position on a list, standalone combined or M/B. RR
You may not subscribe to it, but MDA pilots were not mainline so the 17 years of unbroken service isn't accurate. Such a pilot was furloughed and had no active mainline seniority status while the west new hire had a more senior status. Not so shocking when you look at things objectively. In fact, it actually makes perfect sense.

Conflict. Who wears the pants in the above family? Looking for Russ's pilot seniority and activity lately, be right back.

And we wonder why the America West pilots have been the lowest paid in the industry. What an outfit.......union leader sleeping with management, drug running, and scabbing at Ansett........surely their pictures are in Webster's under "thugs" Next on the agenda is to disrespect our time put in on the job.....most of our lives, and steal our positions! breeze

You may not subscribe to it, but ...... it actually makes perfect sense.

Yeah..."it actually makes perfect sense"? Umm....Sure thing kid. "You'se" just put on the stand some gibbering idiot that merely wants to magically become "13 or 1400 numbers" senior to himself. ;)

To all "you'se"..umm.."spartans"...well...just thanks for all the serious laughs today. :)

You should try actually talking to someone at APA to see what they want.

They want slotting by equipment and status (fences around the WBs, not the bases) and don't care what the internal order of our seniority list is.

DOH would make me a 767 Captain in Miami vs a Reserve 320 Captain now.

If the merger goes through the SLI is going to arbitration, you'll never see DOH.

Thanks for perhaps even a Papal Indulgence, though I'm not of that faith, but I was already planning on maintaining a moral setting that you assign as "dumb". After 60+ years of life: Would you honestly even imagine I'd completely re-align all morality and thought processes, just so's to indulge the sacred nic? ;)

Were I ever to meet Mr. Nic; I'd happily shake his hand and salute his war service with The Mighty Eighth, after which I'd equally cheerfully, ask of him just when and how he'd so completely and utterly lost his frikkin' mind so as to set forth his arbitration product here. Not myself being limited as some inexperienced and only wholly fantasized little "spartan"/"knight"/"dire wolf"; I'd imagine decent conversation might follow. No matter. None of us will ever have that chance.

And jake?....Some people can choose to "play dumb" their entire lives...just sayin'...
Post of the day, sir......right on! :)

Always happy to entertain you with the facts.

At least you are consistent. Perfect sense indeed, of a perverted outlook on furlough, especially when said furlough might be by choice. I have been briefed on the West depos. To a man but one exception, the West class guys said a furlough guy brought nothing to a merger, and deserved nothing. 2 or 3 said he or she deserved to go to the bottom, no matter what. One West Class guy who actually was STILL on furlough (by choice..good for him) was thankfully, politely not even asked the question. Guess nobody clued him in on the talking points. Good thing for this poor guy and his family is USAPA will be doing the arguments, not LEO. RR

I've sometimes assisted with suffering patients who were equally delusional regarding "the facts".

Addressing "the facts"?...Well..."You'se" just put on the stand some gibbering idiot that merely wants to magically become "13 or 1400 numbers" senior to himself." True (Fact) or False?

Post of the day, sir......right on! :)

Thanks Breeze. In all?...I'm just venting out frustration at the utterly comical absurdity of the whole situation. = Your honor, I'm merely wanting to magically become 13 or 1400 numbers senior to myself....and to any/all that could ever even slightly "make sense" to. ;)

Seriously sir: Arent we/all human beings at least supposed to be even a LITTLE bit smarter than this? :)

"What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and
admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god!.".....

True, as it is also true that the 13 or 1400 number differential comes from recalled furloughed pilots. Those recalls only happened because of the merger and the merger required a pilot seniority integration to occur by a defined and agreed to process. All of those facts determined how and why active pilots were placed above furloughed pilots and why now that all of the furloughed have been recalled, there is a 1400 number difference between someone who was active at the time of the merger and a date some seven years later.

I've no further questions for this witness. You may step down. ;)

PS: But, But, But....WAAAH!, fails to much impress at any level.
