Possibly because we are more concerned with the mothers right to control her body and because the COTUS only covers persons born in the US (operative word being born).

Also, neither side is concerned with the murder rate because if they were the legislation being proposed would actually be effective and not this BS lipstick they are proposing now.

I'm glad I grew up in the 60's when I didnt need an armed guard wandering the halls in my school. Damn....the front door was unlocked. The back doors were unlocked. The SIDE doors were unlocked. And nary an armed guard in sight. I guess our parents just didn't love us back then.

You forgot the fact that the conservative right will do everything possible to deny women anything and everything that helps prevent a woman from haviong an unwanted pregnancy like birthcontrol convered by insurance (the little blue pill is covered), sex ed, family planning to name a few. Their idea of sex ed is "just say no". As if that has worked so well. :blink:
