AMFA, (noun)
An acronym for Acronym Made From Acronyms. Any acronym where some of the letters represent another acronym, thereby creating a second order acronym. Recently experts in semiotics have predicted the rise of entire languages composed solely of AMFAs or second order or higher, resulting in a loss of comprehension of the English language. Other experts point at NASA as proof this has already occurred. Curiously the word AMFA is not an AMFA.

example:

Edwin Ogleby, the president of Americans Hating AMFAs, was found dead of a self inflicted gunshot wound, his body draped over a partially completed protest sign saying "AHA Forever".
