AMR's Horton: Labor costs 'untenable luxury'

Do you ever wonder how any of them can sleep at night? You notice not a word was said by Horton or the little Star-Telegram pr flack posing as a reporter about executive bonusses and whether or not they were a luxury.
 
Here we go again.....They will continue to attempt to push down labor costs, and pad their bonuses until no one wants the job.

I'd love to know where you get your info.... Most of it is nothing but made up bull*** . Start backing your claims up with real facts...
 
Maark, Its rough being a turned down for a job and then having to spending your time trying to flamebait and make up info to get attention fom the people that it wanted so despiritly to work along side.

One piece of advice, what ever you do dont ask about anything to do with math. I dont know if you were here for donttouch/popdrops example and explanation of pay a year and a half or so ago. But it was frightening. Straaighttalk, FWAA and eolsen will remember well.

First off, FAMikey, please stop making accusations of who I am. To be quite honest, you have no clue about what you are talking about. For you saying that I "wanted" to work at AMR, you are so sadly mistaken. When I looked at what airline I wanted to work for, I looked at what airlines had bases abroad that i could be based in, and that was not AA. So if you want to keep spreading your lies thats fine, but the sad part is this; you can't handle the truth. Was in not you, that just spouted off about me not knowing what I was talking about, when I posted that AMR was in the top 2 spots for defaulting and filing for BK. Ah, yes - how short that memory span is. Then only a few days later your own flesh and blood start a thread on it.. Do me a favor, educate yourself b/c you sound like a fool, and you do no justice for yourself making false accusations about other people. Your problem is, you are shaking in your boots, and you are deathly afraid that whats about to happen actually WILL HAPPEN. Put your money where your mouth is.

Keep in mind that old adage of glass house's. When you talk of others spelling and grammar. Since you couldnt disagree with the statement. The only way you could post something on the AA board.
 
Untenable Luxury?

Hey Tom, how about the "Untenable Luxury" of PUP? Wasn't it a year or so ago PUP paid out more than the entire quarterly profit?

I know, I know we have to retain key talent like yourself, lord knows we couldn't afford to have you leave for AT&T again like you did in 2003 when the chips were down.

I hope all employees applaud this year's PUP payout next month. It is my understanding that as an added bonus, the execs will also receive a 10% across the board good old fashioned PAY RAISE.
