Amfa Wannabes

we will be allowed to either give a vote of confidence to the TWU, or change and choose AMFA.

By "a vote of confidence to the TWU", what are you referring?

We don't have a "union" today, we have very divided membership and this vote gives us hope that the division will soon end.

Sorry to tell you this brohter but I'm afraid that the division will still be there regardless the outcome. You tout amfa as a cure all for our problems but that is an unfair assumption.

the IDEA has NOT been tried yet,

Are you referring to amfa as "the IDEA"??

Will you not respond to my previous questions and comments?

But wasn't your final card count less than 9300? The number you filed with? That's just the number (approx) floating around. If you cannot increase your numbers to match up with the company's to come up with 50% needed to file (at this time) I don't know what it will take to reach the number that you want. I
am a bit confused by it all. The only thing I can think of is some kind of an appeal or something, if they even do that. Like I told you I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to the "technical" stuff. I have NO idea how the NMB determines what is enough or what even constitues being enough. All I know of it is that the NMB requires 50% plus 1 for an election to be held. The numbers I am going by and by what you said you went by (company list), you don't have 50% plus 1. I've been known to be wrong!!

And I hope your good mood continues. . .

What part of this did you NOT understand?

Stay tuned.

We will give you the facts as always.

There is more data to substantiate our numbers. Just be patient and AMFA organizers will give you the facts as they become available.

I can provide you current information to eliminate some of your "confusion", if you will read this manual, then as the data and communications become available, you will at least be able to keep up with the battle that is about to take place in the trenches.

READ THIS:
NMB Representation Manual

After you are done reading that document, strap up your helment, fill your canteen with water, and get ready for a showdown.

You just said your numbers couldn't be increased. You're talking in circles.

Uh,

If we can "substantiate" our craft or class numbers, then an increase in card count is not really necessary, correct?

I am really getting the feeling that you are just fishing for a stated filed number. You will not get that today.

I will give one bit of interesting information. The Company's list they submitted is in direct violation of the instructions given to them by the NMB. Arrogant Airlines cannot even follow simple rules.

Just wanting the facts.

I'll "fish" somewhere else. I'm sure the numbers won't be that hard to find. An increase is needed to get an election is it not?

I knew this wouldn't last!!

Oh, and I bet I do get them today. . .just not with help from you!

twuer, you once told me why you believed UAL's bankruptcy was AMFA's fault, do you still believe that???

I see amfa dave is going in circles, Seem he can state numbers from one side and claim percentages from another! Is'nt that like apples and oranges! I see a bit of concern! Amfadave claims Amfa filed with over 60% of 16,014. I believe this would put Amfa at about 9600. Or! has he in fact lied to the organizers and overstated the cards submitted? Could it be closer to 45%?

Amfadave, I believe the NMB has determined who is eligible to vote in our class and craft! The one carrier issue was in question from the Amfa wannabes several months ago and was prepared to be answered well in advance!

Do former employees hold recall rights and eligible to vote? Or! Are you suggesting they do not have the right to vote?

So in fact, as you claim, AA has filed a list with 18,698 eligible voters! Is this a partial list?

GO FISH!

You are the same guy who claimed we had 8 cards per day expiring and wouldn't even file and that we were desperate.

Now you're here spewing the same crap packaged differently. Just like you do the other crap you spew. How many ways have you learned to say AMFA had layoffs at NWA anyway?

We will see soon, won't we?

I do not understand,

Jim Little is quoted as claiming that support for AMFA is dying on the vine.

CIO is quoted as stating that AMFA does not have enough cards and that those that were signed are dropping off.

If the TWU is so confident that they can win an open election against AMFA; why will the TWU not stipulate before the NMB that the only Maint. & Related persons eligible for an election are those that held an active or recall position to a Title I, Title II, SimTech, or TechSvcs position as of the date that AMFA filed with the NMB?

The reason is simple, all of the TWU kool-aid drinkers keep claiming that "if AMFA has enough cards" the TWU will win an election.

The TWU palns to dilute the Maint. & Related classification by including rampers and others.

The TWU knows they cannot win an election between them and AMFA.

We'll Get'em Next Time...
With the TWU: next time never happens.

We are all working for less; how about Little, Yingst, Conley and Gless?

It is interesting how AA lied about the number 2 years ago because the IAM would have been allowed a runoff election with the added numbers. To explain, the additional numbers would have put the IAM showing of interest over the 35% required to force a runoff election. Looks like a good lawsuit for the TWAers to file, they were illegally denied a twu vs. iam election.

That's what I figured you were up to.

Good Luck, and I hope your "friendly demeanor" returns soon.
Gee Decision. . .
Can't a guy ask some simple questions without being suspect of anything?

I rather enjoyed our little exchange!

Haven't had the chance to locate anyone who has the correct numbers as of yet though. I'll try again tomorrow.

When will amfa throw in the towel? This round anyway. . .

Actually since amfadave is not devulging the numbers from aamfa all we can assume is; Amfa filed with less cards than what they are telling the organizers! Lies and half-truths continue!

I believe, I have always indicated, deception on your part is a never ending cycle!

Going to answer! It does'nt matter your credibility has gone out the door! Your silence speaks for itself!
