When we voted in AMFA in Feb. of 2002, we had 860 members, as of this week we are about at 690. This was a result of 2 lay-offs by the Company. That is a 20% reduction in AMFA members a ATA! With Timco opening the former UAL maintenance facility in Indianapolis we may be losing more members. We still do not have a contract! This weeks negotiations session was the first in which a National Mediation Board mediator was present. Without the ability to strike, we have limited tools to achieve our goals, remember to remain Strong, Committed, and Unified. We will prevail!

Note: Amfa National shows 834 members.

One Question: What has amfa done in the last 90 days to improve the Technicians within the Industry?

1. 100 members showed up for a rally at NWA out of 18,000 members, most were from other locations. This only reinforced NWA commitment to continue business as usual!!!!!!

2. ???????

What has the TWU done in the last Twenty years to improve the Technicians within the Industry?

 They are having an actual election for the national offices that the individual mechanic and related people across the country can vote for.

What has the TWU done for the Mechanics and Related in the last 90 days? Or the last 20 years for that matter? Answer:Absolutely Nothing! Tell me CIO,when do the negotiations for eliminating our pension start? Next month? How much more will the TWU give Arpey?

cio......quit being such a dumba$$. Everyone knows UAL is in BK and the AMFA is policing an iam contract!! Don't you know how dumb you look spouting your rhetoric?? May be alot of the twu's image problem in Tulsa.

Keep the Faith....AMFA NOW!!!!!!

Show me an Airline that has NOT lost employees within the last three years?

Any Airline!

And if you honestly believe the eligibility list you submitted to the NMB, then how many TWU Mechanic and Related jobs have been reduced in the same time frame? Count current furloughs and the unreplaced attrition in your numbers.

CIO, AMFA is not ready to accept responsibility just yet....stby...they'll let you know when.

Changing the subject, no that is what you are famous for.

The subject is still and always has been the non performance of the TWU.

If everything was as great as you believe with the TWU then there would not be a push for AMFA.

I answered your question:

One Question: What has amfa done in the last 90 days to improve the Technicians within the Industry?

I just answered with a question.

You are famous for not answering questions on this board and then you QUESTION whether someone else answers or not. The is being hypocritical.

If everything is as bad as you and the other TWU supporters claim under AMFA, then show me the latest evidence of the card drives at the eight airlines AMFA represents.

Time is ticking,

One Question: What has amfa done in the last 90 days to improve the Technicians within the Industry?

I showed you were to find numerous answers to your question cio, knowing you actually did not want an answer. You think it's called politics, I think it's called deception. In the end we will all know which is the right choice, but for now the vast majority of AMTs have said out with the twu and in with AMFA.

The TWU has done NOTHING!

We're still waiting for Little's response on the Shared Sacrifice issue by management!

American Eagle
Frontier
Jet Blue
etc.

AA turned in an eligibility list based on the NMB determination on who is within the Mechanic class and craft. We can't help the lack of homework amfa failed to do. Looks like amfa did another half-ass job as usual!!!!
