We are in the bus driver union after all.Keeping with the bus theme....This might work for Eagle
Now they say we are all getting new uniforms to be unveiled next week. Even the pilots. They always seem to slide by when the uniforms are updated. Apparently, not this time. If the rumors for the F/A uniforms are correct, we are going to look terrible. It will just be another ridiculous decision like this hideous livery. AA is still falling with no end in sight. Sad, very sad!
Check out AA's FB page. Look at the public's response. New logo isn't changing their opinion of this airline. So IMO it's a waste of time and $.like it or not, if it helps AA turn itself around, it might prove to be money well spent.
If AA turns itself around and the new identity can be shown to have had nothing to do w/ it, then you can say it was a waste of money.
AA's livery was classic and was so well-liked because it hadn't been messed with, but AA won't sink or swim based on the livery.
Given that there were no credible fotos of the livery prior to rollout, AA mgmt was effective in keeping it secret... and future paint jobs won't cost as much just on that basis.
And alot of the paint jobs will come as aircraft are delivered. Many existing AA aircraft will never see the new livery.

CBS is reporting paint scheme was done in a secret air force facility in California. To paint the 37's it cost $80 grand and $250 grand for 777's. It's only money..right?
