You should check with Parker at USAir, if thats in the deal ?

Bottom Line if they do change is that going to come out of your pocket?

I wonder if usair was even asked what they thought? What if Parker doesn't like it are they going to change it again? I have to wonder if this merger is even going to happen with Horton going forward with his changes?

Like Delta did in the past. I believe they changed their logo several times in a short time.

Not much to do with the tail to make it look like USAir.

The EAGLE has been retired. A sad day at American Airlines.

Not exactly. Think of all those interior bulkheads that have the eagle imbedded in the bulkhead cover. The fact that the eagle will now not connect to anything exterior is of no consequence. You just are not seeing the big picture. (New livery is ever so much more important than happy, satisfied employees.)

This would look better :D

Anybody noticed the tail number? N123AA. I believe this belongs to another aircraft right now. It used to belong to one of our DC10's that was turned into a beer can.

Come now. It's not emotionally healthy to keep your feelings bottled up. Release yourself. Tell us how you really feel.

P.S. I agree wholeheartedly.

The photo is a drawing and they used a ex DC-10-10 N number. I think AA still has rights to the N number. Using 123AA was just for the photo. A generic number for advertising purposes is my guess.

Wow,I was expecting a train wreck along the lines of the "New Coke/Old Coke" debacle but they've managed to exceed even that dubious benchmark.

In typical AA fashion they take the one thing that wasn't broken and totally farked it up.

It has to be the ugliest livery I have ever seen.

I agree. Maybe part of the deal with Parker is that Horton would roll out this loser livery which would then allow Parker to ####-can it when he takes over. Doesn't matter whether Parker's designs are great or not - they'll be better than this one.
