I did a decade standing on my head making only $21.00 per hour. Even moved to MIA making the same rate. Now to be fair you’re asking me that question making almost 50% more than that?

But I think I only start going on that line when the woe is me talk just gets a little too Shakespearean for my tastes.

But I do have a figure. It just isn’t a monetary figure alone.



The IAM guys lost their Pension way before we did. I’m talking about their Company DBP not the IAMPF.

BTW Rogallo might surprise you to know that the IAM knows they’re Medical costs are going to go up. They just believe it doesn’t have to go all the way up to where we are right now which I agree with.

But anyway I’m sorry you are right that it does come across as if I’m spewing out a Company mantra.

Like I said in all honesty it’s just hard to go along for the ride when any of us are trying to make it sound like we’re eating out of dumpsters and sleeping on cardboard.

Getting emotional and saying enough is enough isn’t going to do anything. And our Union is doing something. You’re just ignoring and discounting it.

Iam but ive been working with Jetblue in FLL, PBI, and JFK. Pretty much just educating them on the iam and that casework suggest a certain elimination of at least 80% of them if they vote in iam union.
The iam is organizing them to contract them out so they can pick up the vender.

Jetblue is between a rock and a hard place if they vote a union a lot are likely to be outsourced if they dont they will always have inferior pay cause the company has to keep fares low at the same time pay their pilots industry standards or near so they wont defect. The burden is on other work groups to fit the bill

Actually Al you and Swamp are welcome to come for a ride also. I have a friend who does tours who said he could lend me the boat for a few hours as long as I give him advance notice.

I’ll have to give you the longitude and latitude spot for the pickup though cause it’s a little out of the way off the beaten path.
