I found that one actually funny. I'll give you points on that one and like the post. Admittedly, I'm on my second Michelob Ultra.
That said, maybe the IAM official needed a hooker. Can you explain why IAM officials keep embezzling money almost monthly if not weekly at this point? Members wanna know.

On January 31, 2019, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, Kevin Crownover, former Treasurer of International Association of Machinists (IAM) Local Lodge 2947 (located in Lemoore, Calif.), was charged with one count of embezzlement from a labor organization and one count of aggravated identity theft, in violation of 29 U.S.C. 501(c) and 18 U.S.C. 1028A(a)(1), respectively, for an embezzlement in the amount of $50,879. The complaint follows an investigation by the OLMS San Francisco-Seattle District Office.

Why don’t you post who found out and who turned them in?

I already know the answer do you?

I can go to the same website and show you other unions who’s members did the same thing.

GVP is now off the Boards. Which one of you little girls is going to fess up that you hit the report button?

Back to boring.

You truly have some mental issue.

SEVEN, worry about your house before you tell others how to live. AMFA no gonads, no strike vote, haven’t asked to be released, afraid of a repeat of NW?

He's right. We were promised a vote on the association. I haven't had a meaningful vote on anything in years with this union.

Northern winters tend to do that...

Can anyone on here tell me what the ASS can do to change the company's position in the next 3-5 years. Somebody please tell me what leverage we have to make the company shift in their demands. IMO we have nothing, so we just sit here and wait like something is just gonna fall from the sky and save us. That update from Baskett made it sound like all this "cooling off" and PEB was going to happen soon, that's 7 years down the road.

So we can't strike and we all know there isn't any unity to have a job action, so I guess we just sit here and wait......and wait....and wait...........................

“FAA to investigate after a CBS News report found that mechanics are being pressured to ignore potential safety issues
after a CBS News report found that mechanics are being pressured to ignore potential safety issues and "short-cut the critical work they perform."

Markey and Blumenthal sent a letter to Acting FAA Administrator Daniel Elwell citing the CBS News report and urging the FAA to provide answers to a variety of questions. The lawmakers want to know just how many complaints the FAA has received about airlines pressuring maintenance workers and whether or not the FAA has investigated the reports uncovered by the eight-month-long CBS News investigation.

Read the letter here:

"A critical component to any effective maintenance plan is an adherence to maintenance protocols and a safety-centric environment that encourages mechanics to both identify and report safety concerns. When safety standards are violated, the FAA has the obligation to investigate allegations and require corrective action," the lawmakers wrote.

The letter comes a week after a CBS News investigation raised questions about FAA oversight and the pressure being placed on airline mechanics to put aircraft back in service faster. Every one of the 26 airline mechanics CBS News spoke to – two thirds from American and the rest from Southwest Airlines – described being pressured by managers to focus only on the work assigned.

Their claims are backed up by findings in several FAA whistleblower complaints about inappropriate pressure and retaliation since 2015 at the two airlines – and at least 32 other anonymous industry-wide reports between 2015 to 2018.

Both American and Southwest told CBS News safety is their top priority.”

CBS News' Kris Van Cleave contributed to this report.

The alliance was formed because both the TWU and the IAM concluded that joining forces as partners would offer members of both unions the most bargaining leverage and representation resources possible at the “new” American Airlines.

Oops!

Not mental sir, just truthful. I know it hurts when the truth does come out, ask weez about that.
AMFA has learned from the NWA fiasco.
Even your carrier will NOT be able to strike, get a clue man. Yea anyone can call for a strike vote, but really, why waste the money to get a strike vote when the gov won't even allow it to happen? Helloooo!!

Tim, I too switch to M.A. at one point, but went back when the Ultra's went too high in prices. Now they have come back down in price as they were losing fans quickly.
BTW try new Michelob Ultra Gold. 85 calories 2.5 carbs. Bottles only where I live.

Listen GVPSPAM was his own demise.
weez you know I didn't report him, matter fact I don't think anyone did. I will say this, I received a PM from someone I trust very much, and he mentioned something about certain comments being made, so sounds like to me it was GVPSPAM, if he is in fact removed from the boards.
Guys, if you cross certain lines you will be removed, and I am sure you all know the lines not to cross, obviously GVPSPAM did not know...

swamt, I don't think you owe him or anyone else an explanation or denial. It's funny how W calls everyone girls and throws blame, yet can't hold a grown man accountable for his own actions. Speaks volumes.

Hes telling us what to expect from what hes experiencing now ,valuable information and hes an aiirline employee whos contract could effect ours unlike you a caterer
At least somebody gets it.

It's ok, he will never admit to any of the charges I lay out. He will constantly scream for proof, and for others to go find him his information for him, and that's his ONLY rebuttal to all of them.
He was sent here to calm the members from getting the truth, it happens every time something big comes out.

Your more than likely correct on your time frame. But I don't think the asso. can do anything, they lost the leverage they had with the cross utilization that the asso. gave them (without membership input or vote) yea sure you all got raises for that cross utilization, but, that too was a scam to keep the membership calm and collective so not to start a card drive. It was also the only way the upper leadership in the asso. would agree to caving to the cross utilization.
Now wezz has posted that the CBS report is now their leverage at the table, he's wrong, it couldn't be the furthest from the truth. IF anything at all comes out of these new intimidation and pressure investigations, the co's will stop it at the door as far as fixing it and punishment handed down as deemed needed to show the FAA that they took care of the problem children.
