Enough cards were not signed or not enough interest. I have no problem with that.

Buck I just noticed that you wrote this. Look all kidding aside and I know that I razz you guys something fierce sometimes but seriously I’m sorry.

One thing about you guys that I always have admired is your persistence. Too many out there don’t give a chit at all but at least you guys do.

Keep sowing those seeds of discontent.

That was quite a postgasm, "Sito."

As for pensions, what is this? 1987? Who wants a pension anymore, let alone a multi-employer one? Aviation is in a new era. Time to fight for industry-leading 401k contributions and matches, and get your people paid today.

My 401k took a pretty decent hit this year. Who will be making up that difference for me Kev?

Can you beat their shirts Tim? Those bright red shirts they give out are pretty nifty.

CWA could be prime unmarked territory for you Tim. New waters so to say.
t would be up to john john and others like him. He would have to know what he is missing out on.

Another one brainwashed to finance his own retirement.

The man who invented the 401k disagrees with you, and he stated it’s not suppose to have replaced a DBP.

If you run this Union would you be willing to let John John be your right hand man or woman?
the members run it. When the attorneys approved the constitution, they said i should change it as far as structure insomuch that the national can control the Local more? I said, nope. we already have the iam if i wanted a union to control the masses like that. This new union is paternal reversed, no children, just masses.

The Market. Same as it always does.

Kev I was putting money into the 401k when AA froze my Pension. I would very much like it if my Pension had been fully funded and was continuing. The projected payout was going to be about $4000 per month when I planned to retire when I ran the Estimator. (60)

I know a group of AA old timers who are doing quite well in Retirement right now. They get together every year and take a big picture.

Those guys retired between 55 and 60. I wish I too had been able to leave around that time as well but since AA froze my Pension that would now be a foolish move on my part.

Now my projection is between 62 to 65.

Go get em Tim. Will you consider marketing yourself to the AA AMT’s since they didn’t get enough show of interest with AMP or AMFA?

I’m happy for those guys, but that ship has sailed. $4K a month isn’t impossible, though- you (general sense) just have to take control of your financial future.

Kevin “I” liked having “MY” Pension. “I” liked the ease of the Company what I thought manageing my old age future. MANY MANY MANY MANY people in America did absolutely fine by their Companies Pensions and lived out LONG fruitful retirement years.

There are some people who will STILL do quite well with their Company or Government sponsored Defined Benefit Pensions.

You have a personal problem against DBP’s that’s on you. “I” (And most AA Employees as well) would LOVE to have our Pensions back. We know it won’t happen but doesn’t mean “WE” (AA Employees) can’t wish for it.

And I don’t give a chit about that portability crap you throw out there all the time anyway. I ain’t porting anywhere.

And here’s that last picture of those AA LGA Retirees doing just fine with their Defined Benefit Pensions.

Edit:

Deleted the link because on this subject it’s well known to be useless to discuss as the mind closed years ago.

GVP-- He is engaged in a 'gaslighting' campaign... or... he has been gaslighted himself...

Gaslighting
Description: Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation that seeks to sow seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or in members of a targeted group, making them question their own memory, perception, and sanity.

What is to explain?

It’s not being discussed in negotiations and why would something be explained that’s not relevant.

Anything in the JCBA when agreed to in a TA will be explained at the road shows.

Are you a new employee? As you seem to have no clue on negotiations.

So, yet again the membership will be kept in the dark until T/A day? Just like I have said for freakin 3-4 years. Playing out just like I said 4 years ago, Hmmmm, imagine that...
