then what has been the intention of the top secret negotiations for the last 3 years? EVERYONE admits there is a communication issue from peterson,schiable,halter and shop stewards but nothing is done about it. again i say the association has had their opportunity and has done everything possible to squander it and alienate the membership. the days of blind obedience and trust were killed when the association was conceived in deceit. saying those people are gone and we are changing is simply untrue, the organization is out of touch and unresponsive to its membership.

Negotiations continued in Washington, D.C. this week, with little movement from the company being made towards completed tentative agreements. In light of the unfortunate lack of progress, the Executive Committee is considering next steps and an appropriate response.

let me give you the latest bullshit rumor:
I will say both sides did agree to a gag order so to speak. I will say there has been ongoing dialogue for awhile now. As to updates, I understand the frustration I have read on various pages as to the lack of more specific information on the status of negotiations, however, it isn’t to piss anyone off, it’s to get to the end zone.
and there is any trust in this organization?

That about sums it up. The fishy way they deal with their members is pitiful. They have disgraced the purpose of unions. It's amazing to see this play out and just get nowhere fast.
you cant imagine the level of frustration with these idiots. they have made every misstep possible its almost as if they want to be fired.

The company has been unwilling to drop the court case in return for a membership vote on the last best proposal.
Tim Nelson said,
"Thus far, the union appears fully committed to remain entrenched to protect its own interest first, prior to allowing a membership vote on the proposal. I think that has been the wrong course of action, and that member consent, through a vote, is long overdue".
Faced with similar guidance at Southwest, AMFA, allowed a membership vote instead of shelving a TA for lengthy legal positioning.
The Association is focused on the court case, even though it is understandable that members would rather the union focus exclusively on negotiations.
There are alot of rumors on social media but the union believes you should go to your next Local meeting to set the record straight.
