i can't hold NYer to it - nor blame him if this doesn't play out to our advantage; but i'm also assuming lav work won't get touched and deicing will still by done by aa in most northern stations...even with deicing pads run by cities/airports. if parker/isom plan on relying upon $17/hr contract deicing workers to show up every day and competently & punctually deice hundreds of aa planes, that would be lunacy...absolutely traced back to america west outsourcing philosophy. the strategy of a tiny, irrelevant airline.

Doesn't matter what our contract says, if an airport authority mandates deicing is done by them, then that's who will do it.

We can't create language that holds an outside entity to our agreements. That's the reason the proposal is written as it is.

At this point, the cities mentioned in the proposal would keep deicing with an outside shot of DFW keeping it as well.

Safer bet would be Delta +3, on the Fleet side.

No retro.
no retro = no vote from me.
if usair gets a "bonus"or keeps their medical thats a a no vote from me. we are the ones that should be getting back pay for the holidays sick time etc.

Heavy rumor is that the fix is in this week.

The NMB

WASHINGTON, Sept. 4, 2019 — The TWU-IAM Association today announced that mediation for negotiations in the American Airlines/TWU-IAM Association contract talks will restart on Monday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. ET and continue through Thursday, Sept. 19. The sessions will be held in Washington, D.C. at the National Mediation Board (NMB).”

That's just a guideline for OUR reps, they'll show when their damn good and ready, screw everyone else is their motto.

Besides, if anyone was serious , things would've kicked off at 9am this morning, not when they get around to it.

You do realize the NMB controls and sets the schedule, not the Association and not the company.

I'd guess little to no update.
Lol. No surprise there.
I really do hope they come to an agreement and it doesnt cost us to much to get them out of the corner.
Its not hard to figure out why usair and america west always ranked low in customer service.
