All of you wusses not willing to fight would rather kiss Isom and Parker's feet and sell yourself and your trade short...all the while complaining how you are skilled and specialized...
all you keyboard warriors just take a back seat, quit whining. Those who want to fight will fight....
Please explain how to "fight." You need to be specific.
Here's what is needed.. The company put their proposal out, the ASS put theirs out...Time to vote. If it's a NO, then it's a NO....That's how you do it.
And if the big mouth and the NC do not want to bring it back for a vote for fear that it might pass...then where is the democratic process? Ignoring the will of the membership?

Once again be SPECIFIC about what you mean by the word "fight!" Your post might come in handy in court regarding the injunction.

Yet another shithouse lawyer that wants to vote on an incomplete proposal.

Relax, tough guy. Wouldn't a NO vote send a clearer message of dissatisfaction more than some loud mouth's threats of bloodshed?
Or are you advocating bloodshed?
C,mon keyboard gangster, let's hear YOUR definition of the word "FIGHT" that you are preaching!
Talk about sheethouse lawyers here.. Please tell the court what you mean by FIGHT!

Our NC didn't want to bring out the first offer by the co. either. But, after lengthy discussions with the membership, they did finally decide to send it out for a vote with trust within the membership to send a very clear and understood message to the company. The overwhelming NO vote was heard loudly by the company. So to be transparent, sometimes you just gotta leave it in the hands of the membership.
I think if some tweaks were made, from both sides, and a vote was done, then they would be able to adjust and move accordingly to get a deal done. I do not see a first vote passing the contract with you guys. In fact I see it failing by nearly as hard as our first vote did, overwhelmingly NO. But sometimes you just gotta throw it out to the membership for a vote. Once the membership sees all the info and language, they will vote it down IMO.

wti is at $52+/bbl. fuel prices haven't dropped proportionately as the price of oil has cratered. oil spiked at $140+/bbl in 2008, which is $170+/bbl in today's money. what was the price of fuel in 2008 compared to today?

no one says anything, no one rushes to congress to complain.

the airlines raise fares $11 for round-trips and congress hints at anti-trust hearings.

the nation is run by oil companies and anything health-related. everyone makes money off the airlines, except the airlines themselves.

if it wasn't for the shale oil revolution, working for an airline in 2014 would have been like working for a stagecoach company in 1903.

When oil peaked at $147 a barrel fuel at the pump for the cheap stuff was at $4 a gallon at most states.

Here is the deal from Fly.
Statistics show that the union is still defiant, even though the union has toned down its garbage rhetoric and begged for someone to sit across from it.
The company is actually pissed, and the BOD have pledged full support of the management team.
There will be no interest from the company as it now turns to focusing on the FAs and Pilots. Our next offer will be less.
Union burned its bridge with all the bull S.
I hate being right and thats one reason why weezles has left.

And the dues keep flowing in.
Sounds like a bad song from a 60's hillbilly sitcom.

You mean they aren't crapping in their pants after Samuelsen's blood shed threat?
