American adds flights between U.S. and Japan

DALLAS, Aug 11 (Reuters) - American Airlines said on Monday it will step up its service to Japan by adding flights from New York and a new daily nonstop from Los Angeles, after several major carriers had cut service to Asia this year due to SARS.

I am looking for an alternative to UA on that route.
