I guess we may assume a similar template will be used for the new US-based usairways.com that should be coming out around February 2008.

More sites are on the way for Europe, and we should also expect a Chinese and Mexico/Carribbean version.(not language wise- but region wise)

Another step in the right direction for US Airways!

In theory it's a good idea--but what good is it if they can't get it to work?

I mean how long has it been since the US web site REALLY worked????

Fix what you have before you try to expand.....see a common theme here?

THIS THREAD IS ALREADY BEING DISCUSSED!!!

just kidding. Hope the website works out.

Let's keep it on topic, and let's NOT make it about the poster...OK YV?

You're right Shannon, it is being discussed but it is also on topic in this case.

Of course, they had perfectly good international websites for many years in many languages, until the Tempe braintrust decided they weren't necessary and pulled them down for nine months. Oops.

So this is nothing new - US had such sites and threw them away. Yet just one more possible contributor to the poor 4th quarter (detailed in other threads).

I think before they launch a website in multiple languages, they need to translate their error message into the same number of languages.
