This has brought on a political fact that many industrial union members are or can be hypocritical. Taking advantage of constitutional privileges and vote against them. Then the insistence that mechanics must remain in this arraignment of industrial unionism to protect the non-mechanic membership in contractual negotiations.

Oh and would you look at that. I guess the Company we work for isn’t STUPID enough to pick one team or the other.

They split their donations pretty close to evenly but leaning slightly Republican.

The only industrial union I have been in, is the Teamsters Airline division, never any other industrial union, that in my mind had better results negotiating contracts then AMFA. All our contracts had only mechanics. As far as political parties, I tend to vote republican, so I don't get where you think I am a socialist. Most Union members only care about the union during contract time, at least I go to my local meetings.

He attacked you as being a Socialist (So what if you were BTW) because he’s run out of ammunition against the things you’re saying and the choices you prefer at your Airline and as far as your Representation.

The norm today among Old Farts is to try to paint a picture of you as an enemy by calling you a Democrat, Republican, Communist, Socialist, Capitalist, Liberal, Conservative or even now going as far as calling people freakin Nazi’s.

That wasn't a bash, it was factual. Just pointing it out as someone else was attempting to discredit AMFA being an association, that they too are NOW part of an association.

Swamp you need to stop. Your Union and the TWU are working together for the betterment of all within your Class and Craft and you’re still living in the past of when there was never ending animosity between the two groups.

Like I said before. The War is over but your still living up in the hills in a cave thinking the enemy is about to arrive at your opening.

But you are a representative of the Company every time you put on your Uniform with that AA logo on it.

So if the Company contributes to both Democrats and Republicans than so do you by the fact that you choose to work here.

You also support all of the inclusionary initiatives both racial and sexual that they subscribe to as well by wearing your Uniform and collecting your paycheck.

We have to work together, or we all lose regardless if you like a particular union or not. I just ask for honesty to the membership, what you can get in a reasonable time, and what you are wasting trying to get.

Really try and spin that again. That is the local 591 president not the twu international president on that letter. Even though the local presidents don't have a problem with the AMFA that is not the case with the twu international. We all know that the power is in the international and not the locals. A perfect example is the fact that the twu and the iam internationals are keeping the twu local presidents out of negotiations. This is primarily because the iam does not want them in the room and the twu's priority is the association and not the membership.
