According to the August 27 AWA MEC Committee Update "The stock options arbitration that was scheduled for this week has been postponed (not cancelled.) It still remains the goal of the (AWA) MEC to obtain parity on the stock options paid to the East pilots by the most effective means possible."

I believe the US Airways MEC and the East pilots will support the AWA MEC in its quest for stock option parity. Will the AWA MEC support the US Airways pilot's quest for pay parity? It appears the AWA MEC wants to negotiate outside of the TA...

Regards,

USA320Pilot
Hey USA320Pilot,

Looks like even your own JNC has never supported pay parity. Look what they signed their names to:

II. Period of Separate Operations

A. The pilot workforces of America West and US Airways will remain separate and
covered by their respective collective bargaining agreements (the “Separate
Operationsâ€￾) until Operational Pilot Integration
as provided in Section VI. A.

B. During Separate Operations:
1. US Airways Group will operate both America West and US Airways in
accordance with the terms of this Letter of Agreement and the provisions
of each carrier's respective collective bargaining agreement
, as amended.

So, once again, your guys agree to something, don't like it, and start to cry when they can't get it changed to suit their selfish purposes.

So, get a joint contract and you'll have your parity.

Suckit!

Are you proud of yourself Bottom, knowing your not man enough to honor an agreement and lawfully binding decision.

"A spoon does not know the taste of soup, nor a learned fool the taste of wisdom."

Every action the east take proves this proverb correct.

Callsign_cactus,

Funny you mention the proverb.

Wait till your membership hears what your MEC gave to your Neg. guys to offer.

My feeling is that the spoon will be as hot as the soup.

Mac Daddy will burn with the rest of the AWA MEC.

Hear is one for you:

Vote early and often
.............USAPA

USAPA = Pyrrhic Victory. If you understand nothing, understand this. USAPA will be hamstrung, in it's efforts to govern, through recalls, representation votes and ultimately DFR suits since it is quite obvious that USAPA does not have the interests of ALL the US pilots at heart.

Your decision to participate in USAPA is yours and yours only. Have you taken the time to visit the USAPA website?

A lot of what you say is rooted in ALPA representation. This is not ALPA!

You will always be given the right to vote. Therefore USAPA will represent ALL USAirways pilots.

This...

"I have met your kind before and I am glad you were not around during the birth of this country because we would all be speaking with a British accent."

Jim has not been shy about posting confrontational things, he just picks his targets well and expresses himself without being nasty. IMO, you were both wrong and nasty.

Thank you for your reply and I respect your opinion, although I do believe he is very capable of taking care of his own self esteem. He is a poster who identifies himself and I respect that.

How do you believe Clue is even qualified to have an opinion on this. I disregard what clue says and I consider him a busy buddy fool.

*shrug* Had you and your MEC listened to me, you would have seen Nicolau coming a mile away. Check the archive, sparky.

Who is qualified to have an opinion? Those, like you and 320Pilot, who honestly thought that DOH (or even LOS) had a snowball's chance in hades? How'd that work?

Called that, the second east bankruptcy, that the DL merger was not going to happen, and a lot of other things. It's amazing what a little bit of information (you don't even leave the gate without relying upon a very key product into whose production and sale to US Airways I have a keen interest and slight involvement in) and a modicum of common sense can do for someone's opinions.

Jim most of your posts always take the easy noncontroversial approach. I have met your kind before and I am glad you were not around during the birth of this country because we would all be speaking with a British accent.

That's hilarious. Jim tends to walk quietly and carry big facts to illustrate what he says. If you and the rest of the east crew were around, we'd still have british accents due to a dangerous combination of overactive ego and complete lack of tactical (or strategic, for that matter) vision.

The fact is this is a legal matter not a spectator sport.

So was Nicolau. It's not that hard to understand why that happened (or why the USAPA thing, while "feel good," is still not going to permit a DOH cramdown) if one can remove one's head from one's posterior. I don't expect that those who are out blustering about it to reach that state of enlightenment anytime soon.

At the end of the day, the mistake was East's DOH push. It's not going to happen, in this lifetime or the next. Check back when it costs you guys years of LOA 93 and millions in dues and assessments and you finally understand what those with some modicum of vision knew the entire time.

   I am not afraid to hide my identity either!   I've got to give credit where credit is due, you never cease to make me laugh.

What's funnier (or scary, in a way) is why a name matters? That particular obsession can only lead one to believe that the subsequent harassment would be nothing short of spectacular. The insinuation is that the "dead agenting" and "attacking the messenger" will follow, rather than trying to attack the message (which is really what this whole identity thing is about to begin with).

In the interest of entertainment, however, I'll out myself: I am Spartacus.
