AA botches 777-300 intro

Aside from the GE90's, what's the big deal from a training perspective? It's a longer version of a plane that's already been in service for 13 years...

unbievable. Perhaps first class or business class seats are not a "big deal". Forget about fixing broke seats, just placard them inop. I guess GE90's are not a big deal either.

We've had 777-300 differences maintenance training classes here at DFW since December.. Not sure where your getting your info from... I'm sure the Pilot group has had sim time on it also..

The new 300ER with new Livery Paint will be here tomorrow morning for a weeks worth of photo shoots in Hanger 2..
This is Top Secret so please don't tell anyone..

Training classes don't cover IFE,or the new seats. They weren't even certified when I went through class.

And where pray tell did it get painted? People have said the 2 in DFW haven't moved and the third, yet to be delivered, left PDX unfinished back to Paine Field. My guess is there might be interior shooting happening, that's all.

Well all I know is that they took everything out of the hangar and I mean evrything then they brought in 4 large JLG's {cherry Pickers} and shut the doors so unless they are going to photogragh the interior from above my money is on the painted verssion shpwing up sometime today.

Well, Boeing's paint hangar in Everett is on Paine Field...hmmm....

Locked up tighter than a drum.. Three guys had to sign confidentiality letters to work in Hangar 2 with the film guys.. After marking the hangar floor with a DWH ER, One came in last night under the "cover of darkness"....

This sounds more like the TWU.. they can do that brotha....lol

Do the 3 guys have the skills needed to paint or apply livery stickers to the plane?
