767 Winglets

Do they expect the work on our fleet in addition to work on other carriers aircraft help to save any mechanic jobs?

<_< ------ The second 767winglet installation should be coming to MCI shortly. TUL should be doing them also.

Are they installing the winglets in connection with C checks? If so how does it affect the AOCM?

Don't know how any outside customers would impact staffing, but I thought the winglets were already on the dock plan for 2009/2010, which means they've been taken into account with the furloughs already done and/or announced.

We should be getting 767's in TULE 6A soon.
6A will have 75's and 67's side by side within a couple of months.
Right now 80's and drop-ins fill one side of 6A where the 67's will be going.

<_< ------ Second 767 winglet instalation is in the barn here now at MCI. I've been told management wants the Aircraft completed in 22 days.------- If it's like the last, "Good Luck!"
