The US District court recently rejected 501 lawsuit challenging the Kasher decision.
One line in the decision stands out.
"TWU-not Local 501- and defendant American are parties to a collective bargaining agreement."
There you have it once again. The Locals have no power. The International owns the contract, not the Locals or the members.
The members can not vote for International officers and hold them accountable.
That is why they can give themselves pay raises while getting us pay and benifit cuts.
