per catcrew there are 253 reserve f/a 's out sick system wide. phl-57,pit-86,clt-60,dca-12,lga-2,bos-7,phw-22,and clw-7 for a grand total of 253. :blink:

And as of about 830pm only 1 flight cancelled showing crew problems. :unsure:

US Airways staffing returned to ``normal levels'' today after sick calls by flight attendants and bag handlers during the Christmas weekend delayed flights and luggage, the company said. Reuters article here..

So let's see....

253 out sick is "normal staffing". The company planned for "100 sick calls a day" from F/A's according to the Chiames. That covers 353 out sick. Also according to Chiames, there were "300 sick calls per day" for the F/A's.

Doesn't sound like there should have been a problem, then.....
