Seriously. Back to those beloved ties.

Well, "the mentality of the nation" has been well demonstrated through those elected to high office in recent decades, so you may be right. En masse retardation is not out of the question there.

They like that it looks great and how it sends a powerful message.
Lady liberty herself, bipartisan and essentially the one symbol to summarize what each American wants. To be afforded equal opportunity in the land of the free.
That's all the West wants, equal opportunity. The past 10 years have been the exact opposite of equal.
The tie shows everyone the foundation of each of our desires. Not West pilots exclusively, but each of us as citizens of this country. That is what speaks to those that comment on these ties I believe. It resonates with them.
It brings them to blurt out publicly that they love the tie! They see it and microseconds later just speak what's in their heart. They have no idea what it means in our little fiasco.
It's truly kind of a social experiment. Not by design.
I wasn't trying to sales pitch the tie for someone that hasn't donated to the west cause by now. Those days are very well over.
Maybe the correlation to what the tie truly is, our West resolve, will resonate with apparently many in the east, who wish they had the same solidarity to achieve the cohesiveness we currently enjoy.
Add over $5.5 million, and you have something.
A yellow tie is not a good idea if any of you are mentally designing your own one.
You lost me at "ties".

If this is a repost, sorry.

I sent something and it didn't go through, as far as I can tell.

Anyway, Eastus.

Good to hear from you.

I have to say I agree with you. I don't want to turn this into a campaign thread, but I believe my tie is more of a positive than a negative.

Not because you and I know what it means, just that the general public is tired of the freak-show of our current race for president, and responds admirably to our countries foundation.

It's actually encouraging to see.

But, for the record, I like to think they like the tie for the reasons I do, but I know that's not true.

I'm in MX and feel each union should support one another, it is time for the pilot group to recognize the hard work we do to keep their aircraft flying. Please help us in our endeavor to get an industry leading contract! Thx

I think we have some of the best mechanics in the industry and I support you.

I was talking to a mechanic in CLT a few weeks back, ask8ng him what was going on with your contract. I can't believe that Parker is letting a group that can so affect the operation hang. He said that he thought it was the union as much as management to blame this time. You merged the two?

What's your take on that?

Good luck.

I think it's safe to say we all support you guys, agreed we have some of the best!

Safety is posting about the possibility of SLI discussions, distractions, compartmentalizing issues, and project wingman....

Believe what you wish, but you should seriously consider deferring to your wife's notions of decent and acceptable fashion in the future.  The unbelievably childish arrogance required for any of "you'se" to brandish imagery of both Lady Liberty (and even America's very colors around) in some attempted usurpation of 17 worked years of your supposedly "fellow pilots" is nothing short of utterly disgusting on all possible levels. Not only have you not the slightest respect for the actually earned seniority of others, but apparently not even for our nation as well. Should you differ per that last; even TRY to explain what makes your sorry cause "worthy" of the most revered statue celebrating Freedom in human history?...Much less America's Red, White and Blue? Infantile "It's ALL about MEEE!" narcissism is one thing, but worlds simply fail me with "you'se"...

BTW "This is Sparta!" falls a bit short of the mark in any attempted response.

Commander Cleary indeed carpet bombed those desert Casa s
I am starting to worry that your friends CB53 and NoNic4 us did indeed shower with their toasters

I'm afraid living with history might sometimes prove to be less merciful than a swift toaster that gets it over faster.

I had a feeling that post would disappear again. Saved it on my 'puter for posterity though lol.

There was plenty of vitriol on both sides and the mods were kept very busy trying to keep things civil, to little avail. I don't really disagree with some of what the post said, frankly, but it was outside the boundaries of civil discourse.

The APA board is no much better, guess no one really monitors that one

Nothing can beat the goatmans exit.......Fodase!.....would like a re post of that one.

It is a good thing Commander Cleary rode the controls when he carpet bombed the desert Casa s.
Someone like the bed wetter 924 BS would have thrown you under the bus for a dime.

Someone saw Simmons, Ferguson and Koontz riding those sideways gate connection carts in the Fishbowl. It is simply too hostile for them to walk the halls these days of disappointment....
